Hex is looking for a GTM Engineer - Marketing Systems to build and deploy cutting-edge AI-powered marketing automation systems that accelerate our go-to-market impact. We are on a mission to make everyone a data person, and you will architect the technical infrastructure that powers breakthrough marketing experiences. Your work will help us unlock new growth channels, scale experimentation, and create automated systems that multiply our team's effectiveness.

What You Will Do
  • Drive innovation and optimization – Continuously experiment with cutting-edge marketing technologies and AI applications, staying at the forefront of automated growth systems and breakthrough marketing innovations.
  • Create predictive personalization engines – Develop AI-driven website and email personalization systems using behavioral data, product usage signals, and account intelligence to improve engagement and marketing-to-sales conversion.
  • Enable next-generation GTM experiences – Develop customized landing pages and ABM experiences that adapt based on account signals, build automated meeting schedulers with intelligent routing, and create proactive intent-driven outreach systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams – Work with Marketing, Product, Data, and RevOps teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate complex concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Who You Might Be
  • You have 3-5+ years of hands-on experience with AI and automation architecture, including Clay, Zapier, ChatGPT API, and marketing AI tools.
  • You're comfortable building complex automated workflows and integrating AI capabilities into marketing systems, with experience in APIs, data flows, and technical troubleshooting.
  • You have experience with marketing technology integration, connecting HubSpot, Salesforce, analytics tools, and web technologies to architect seamless integrations across marketing stacks.
  • You're a natural cross-functional collaborator who works effectively with Marketing, Product, Data, and RevOps teams, translating business needs into technical solutions.
  • You have an innovation-oriented problem-solving approach and are naturally curious about emerging marketing technologies and AI applications.
  • You thrive in a fast-moving, growing company and are excited to experiment with cutting-edge tools and approaches at the forefront of AI-powered marketing automation.
  • You're comfortable with technical implementation including tracking pixels, landing page development, and troubleshooting technical marketing issues.

This role will be hybrid (2 days per week in office) based out of either our San Francisco or NYC office.

The salary range for this role is: $100,000 - $135,000. 
The salary range shown may be a reflection of additional factors such as geographical location and skill ranges/levels we’re open to. Placement in the salary range will be decided upon completion of the interview process, taking into account factors like leaving room for growth, internal fairness & parity, your demonstrated skills, and the depth of your experience.
