- Build a strong company culture to maximize team engagement and retention
- Recruit top talent for various open positions
- Manage the day-to-day human resources operations to unblock any bottlenecks
Responsibilities
- Design and manage the hiring workflow
- Responsible for new employee onboarding and offboarding
- Implement strategies to consistently improve employee retention and workplace culture
- Put together and implement a system for remote work procedures
- Manage a global payroll system and implement best practices for both fiat and cryptocurrency payroll processing
- Set up policies for receiving feedback and continuing to improve employee culture
- Create, publish, and manage job descriptions across all hiring platforms
- Serve as the lead for all employee-related records, internal procedures, and paid leave
- Handle employee benefits management
- Maintain compliance with local, state, national, and international laws with regard to employee hiring and retention procedures
- Understand the business operation goals and procedures from both a strategic and tactical perspective
- Source and recruit talent and nurture leads for open job positions across various channels including but not limited to Lever, LinkedIn, GitHub, Angel List, etc.
- Build up talent pools and recruiting channels
- Coordinate with third-party talent sourcing services
- Create and maintain other HR processes as needed
Requirements
- 2-3 years of HR experience OR 1+ years of HR experience in a scaling web3 company
- Experience working with HR tools including (but not limited to) Gusto, Gem, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc. or equivalent tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Comfort with making payments using cryptocurrency stablecoins
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- High tolerance for ambiguity
- Demonstrated leadership skills
