The Role:

AlphaSights is looking for an ambitious Compensation and Benefits Analyst to join our Human Resources team. You will be part of a global team, and you will manage rewards programs for our 9 offices globally. Through excellent support and management of our benefits processes, you will work with the Director of Human Resources to support the needs of AlphaSights' most valuable resource: its people. A successful candidate will be excited about making meaningful improvements to our current offerings and processes with the ultimate goal of increasing employee satisfaction. Based in our New York office, you will manage our global compensation process as well as benefits programs for the US offices.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a global compensation strategy, aligned to AlphaSights’ pay philosophy: review external benchmarks, run an internal equity analysis, make recommendations for compensation adjustments to key stakeholders
  • Manage semi-annual compensation planning process
  • Conduct annual benchmarking analysis to monitor the effectiveness and competitiveness of the compensation program
  • Manage US employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, disability, and 401(k)
  • Head the annual renewal and Open Enrollment process: work with our broker to assess current plans, benchmark our benefits, make plan design updates, negotiate renewals, and communicate new plans and/or changes to existing employees
  • Ensure the timely and accurate input of all enrollments, changes, and terminations into the benefits administration system and COBRA system
  • Manage 401(k) benefit plan: oversee administration of the plan (enrollments, rollovers, withdrawals), run the annual audit with vendor, analyze performance of the plan
  • Handle employee benefit inquiries and issues
  • Ensure total compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and statutes, including 5500s and ACA reports
  • Recommend benefits programs to management by soliciting employee feedback and analyzing trends
  • Review and manage vendor performance: hold vendors accountable, build relationships with account managers, review usage reports, conduct independent analysis of vendor quality, recommend vendor changes
  • Monitor payroll deductions to ensure accuracy and collaborate with the Finance team on any errors
  • Collaborate with the global HR team to roll out coordinated initiatives
  • Take ownership of specific projects or initiatives as directed by the HR Director

What We Look For:

  • 4+ years of experience working in compensation and benefits or similar roles
  • Bachelor’s degree, with strong academic credentials and noteworthy extracurricular leadership
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • High degree of professionalism and integrity
