Employee Onboarding Lead
THE ROLE
Peloton’s Onboarding Team is dedicated to evolving and streamlining the best experience possible for new hires joining our world class team. Our priority is making sure we’re supporting them throughout their candidate and new hire journey to ensure they are set up for success from the beginning. We are seeking an Employee Onboarding Lead to help spearhead this experience for our fast growing teams based at our HQ New York office. The ideal candidate is a jack of all trades, bringing skills such as being collaborative, highly organized, comfortable speaking and presenting to large groups, and a passion for meeting new people. Reporting to the Program Manager of Peloton Onboarding, this employee will work closely with team members across our other corporate locations in Plano, TX and our International Offices, and assist in identifying onboarding leads across our Field Operations and Retail Teams. Ideal candidates will thrive in a fast paced environment, have prior experience working cross-functionally in a People/HR Function, and a background in building and facilitating Onboarding and/or People/HR related training.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver and iterate on weekly onboarding processes and messaging including but not limited to: Welcome Communications, Onboarding Prep, Class Communications, Hiring Manager Communications, etc.
- Work cross-functionally with Peloton teammates using virtual tools and systems (Zoom, Google Hangouts, LMS, Slack). Build and iterate on processes to ensure inclusion of teammates across all locations, including remote and/or flexible work teammates.
- Serve as a facilitator of our Global Onboarding Program on off weeks for additional coverage and co-facilitate weekly sessions
- Drive cultural immersion opportunities of NYHQ based new hires and employees by partnering cross-functionally with teams across New York and Global Peloton
- Serve as a SME and trainer when partnering with Field, Retail and International Teams Site Experience Leads to ensure program consistency across Global Peloton
- Measure and track new hire feedback throughout the employee journey and deliver process improvement and program iterations
- Assist in driving 30/60/90 day new hire touch points and driving functionally focused onboarding improvements across different departments within Peloton
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of People/HR related and/or Program Management experience
- Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship building skills
- Experience with drafting thorough communications and planning and coordinating events
- Proven project management experience
- Ability to be innovative and think outside the box to find creative solutions
- A passion for meeting new people and the ability to lead by example as a beacon and representation of our company values
- A strong enthusiasm for employee engagement and experience
- Ability to warmly lead and organize virtual and in-person training and orientation sessions
