Global Benefits Manager

Movable Ink is looking for a Global Benefits Manager who will be responsible for benefits administration of all global benefits plans (healthcare, flex spending accounts, disability, 401k, wellness benefits, parental leave, statutory benefits where applicable) in the Americas, EMEA, Costa Rica with the possibility of expanding to other countries and regions as Movable continues on our growth trajectory. You will also serve as the day to day point of contact for Inkers for any benefits related questions and work closely with payroll to audit benefits deductions and enrollments.
This is an exciting time to join as you will be the first Benefits Manager hired to support Movable Ink and will have an opportunity to shape future benefits offerings and update current processes and programs to ensure our benefits are scaling with the rest of the company. Reporting to the SVP of People, you will work closely together to add new benefits programs and solutions to support our growing company.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all global end to end benefits administration (healthcare, flex spending accounts, disability, COBRA, life insurance, AD&D, 401k, wellness benefits, parental leave, and statutory benefits where applicable, to name a few) including planning new benefits offerings, open enrollment, and benefits education sessions as needed. You will own the entire benefits function end to end
- Complete quarterly audits to ensure employee deductions and enrollments are accurately reflected in systems and in payroll
- Facilitate benefits orientation for new hires globally
- Partner closely with global benefits vendors and carriers to make sure any additions/changes/terminations are recorded accurately
- Serve as the point of contact for all benefits related questions and is responsible for all benefits administration and compliance matters
- Work closely with Finance and HRBPs to ensure all leaves of absences are accurately tracked in HRIS and own the leave administration process from employee communications to gathering paperwork to ensuring accurate payroll records/payments
- All compliance reporting and any benefits changes related to new laws and legislation is completed in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in global benefits administration with a strong understanding of global benefits including health care plan mechanics, leaves of absences, 401k and disability benefits
- Experience with the administration of global benefits plans and statutory benefits plans
- Working knowledge of state leave laws and processes
- Prior experience with managing benefits invoices and partnering closely with payroll to ensure accurate deductions, planning open enrollment, facilitating benefits orientation and creating benefits processes for high growth companies and benefits audits
- High attention to detail and comfortable working with large amount of data
- Takes a proactive approach to solving problems and resolving employee queries
- Strong desire for continuous process improvement
- Customer service oriented
- Strong verbal and written communication; a positive, can-do, flexible attitude is a must
- Enjoys benefits education and thinking through how to increase participation in wellness programs a plus
