The Global People and Talent Senior Generalist will act as a global PMO across a spectrum of people projects to help DV deliver on our employee value proposition (EVP). With a strong background in project management and a data-driven mindset, the Senior Generalist will also research industry best practice and market trends to inform recommendations and support the people strategy. Serving as a member of the Global People and Talent team, you will draw on your fine-tuned communications skills to prepare presentations on a range of People topics across a mix of audiences (leadership, regional, and All DV). This individual will be expected to draw heavily on a strong quantitative skill set, with an acute attention to measuring and demonstrating impact, and nuanced qualitative skills and stakeholder management to drive change across a matrixed, global organization.
This role will be the go-to resource for one of the core pillars of our EVP, helping fellow DVers gain valuable professional skills and personal experience in new geographies, while helping to enable business growth and talent-pollination across DV offices. This position will facilitate temporary cross-staffing between different DV geographies, as well as long-term or permanent transfers of DV employees.
In addition to a focus on mobility and staffing, the successful candidate will take on other People strategic programs and bring a complementary skill set in global program management and project execution to drive change. You will have a strong understanding of business fundamentals including the core economic and financial drivers of DV's business. Upcoming strategic people programs will include Learning & Development and Performance Management and Technology integration.
In this role you will:

  • Adapt global processes and policies to ensure talent flow aligned to DV's business needs, managing change projects within Staffing and Mobility as needed
  • Act as interface between BCG and DV's people functions including HR business partners and senior leadership
  • Lead PMO and systems change initiatives related to staffing working across DV and BCG, including project planning; risk identification and mitigation; working cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Tax, Immigration, and leadership; status reporting; and overall oversight/coordination with BCG shared service experts
  • Integrate best practices, innovation and new technologies in the People Experience space into our Staffing and Mobility approach
  • Collaborate within the Global People and Talent team and with People and Operations Directors, HR, and Talent teams to deliver on global people priorities
  • Work up/down/across the organization to develop and deploy global people programs that will enhance the DV employee experience
  • Translate data and trends into actionable insights
  • Prepare presentations and make recommendations on a range of topics to senior stakeholders across DV
  • Strong execution and delivery on ad hoc requests
  • Assist in the development of global People Operations communications
  • Collaborate with BCG and use judgement to determine where it is appropriate to leverage BCG programs and technologies


You should have:

  • 5+ years of HR Generalist (or similar) experience
  • 3+ years of Project Management experience, preferably within HR, Recruitment, L&D and/or People Development in a high growth environment or technology company
  • Proven ability to understand strategic organizational and people issues to influence and gain alignment with stakeholders
  • Systems thinking; a data driven decision maker who is able to find root cause of issues, identify second and third order impacts and work across the organization to engender change
  • Proven ability to manage priorities among multiple stakeholders, multi-task and re-prioritize as needed in fast moving environment
  • Collaborative and a natural team player and able to quickly integrate and contribute effectively
  • Keen to challenge and be challenged by those who they work with, at all levels
  • Able to engage, manage and influence team members and senior stakeholders with tact
