iCapital Network is looking for an experienced Vice President, Human Resources Operations and Data & Analytics to ensure iCapital is evaluating current systems and implementing new HR digital solutions, as appropriate, to effectively service our employee base and remain compliant as the company continues to grow and decentralize.  This is your opportunity to join early and build something remarkable that will positively impact all of your new colleagues.  As the VP, HR Operations and Data Analytics, you will be the magician behind the curtain; driving the selection, implementation and management of our systems and vendors to ensure we have the right tools optimized to deliver on the HR agenda. Additionally, you will evolve our use of data to help us see our results and opportunities while facilitating better decision making.

Due to COVID-19, this role will be remote until further notice. The location of the role will be based in Greenwich, CT or Princeton, NJ once we reopen.

About The Role

  • You will be the first in this role. As such, you will shape and define the overall HR Operations strategy and operating model.  You will have an opportunity to define the strategy that will lead iCapital into the future and then execute on that strategy.  Your focus will initially include evaluating our current systems and potentially identifying and implementing a core HRIS system that is part of a bigger strategy that includes or connects talent acquisition, onboarding, offboarding, compliance, payroll, benefits, compensation planning, workforce planning and learning management.
  • Building on your prior experience you will lead us through the requirements-gathering process, a decision-making process, vendor(s) selection and implementation.
  • You will design and implement low defect-rate, technology-enabled processes that drive efficiency for the HR team as well as iCapital employees. You will partner closely with cross-functional partners across functions such as Talent Acquisition, HRBP, Total Rewards, Payroll, Finance and Legal to define process objectives and metrics that ensure success.
  • You will own the technology roadmapand ensure that whatever solutions we choose are optimized to meet the needs of our business and employees today and as we grow. This includes demonstrated experience working in and leveraging a variety of people-related systems, including but not limited to: HRIS, ATS, LMS, compensation market data systems, engagement, and performance management systems.
  • In partnership with the HR Leadership team, you will shape the strategy as we expand globally and will be a critical player in driving the successful execution of our international expansion. Initially handling our relationships with PEO’s and then linking together our technology as we reach critical mass and establish our own legal entities.
  • You will optimize workforce analytics and reporting, as well as build and maintain HR data and analytics dashboards. You will stress the importance of data and the value of what we can learn from it; helping to consistently capture good data and using it to drive critical insights and decisions for our executive & HR teams to act upon. This role is a key leadership role for the HR team reporting to the Chief People Officer and will assist in the development and execution of short-term and long-range goals, strategic planning, and growth objectives.

We’re Excited About You Because…

  • You combine a strategic mindset with a relentless focus on execution. You are adept at translating high level business strategy into implementation plans that ensure high quality execution. You have an eye for detail while keeping the 30,000 foot view and budget in mind. You have demonstrated success in driving large cross-functional initiatives for which there was not a pre-existing playbook.
  • You are an expert at designing and implementing systems and processes that scale. You have a track record of going from “scrappy” to “scaled.” You are a master at driving efficient, repeatable processes that generate consistent results. We need integrated technology solutions to scale effectively over time. You are a systems thinker and easily connect the dots between need and technological solution. You will ensure that our HR Technology roadmap and systems (including our HRIS, payroll, ATS and workflows) will enable our success. You love continuously improving. You will do what it takes to get the job done while simultaneously figuring out ways to automate, reduce friction, and ensure quality.
  • You are a strong leader and have a track record of building and growing high performing teams. However, you are also the first one to roll up your sleeves and pitch in. You take ownership of your work and drive it forward independently and in collaboration with a highly engaged Human Resources team. You have prior experience starting a department and recruiting top talent and you inspire your teams to create world class experiences for the employees they serve.
  • You are a strong collaborator and communicator.Coming up with great ideas is just the first part of the journey. You must produce compelling verbal and written communications to turn ideas into action. Ideas are plentiful, turning them into actionable results is essential. You proactively build cross-functional partnerships within and outside of the company. You are effective at driving outcomes and change even without direct authority.
