About the Role: 

We seek an entrepreneurial, strategic, and personable Lead, Executive Recruiting to drive and manage the executive talent acquisition capabilities as we scale Cityblock.

You’ll join Cityblock at a critical point in our growth trajectory: over the next 12 months, we expect to hire 20+ Executive Leadership hires across operations, G&A functions, and our community health business lines.

In this role, you’ll own search firm relationships + some direct-sourcing & full-lifecycle talent acquisition through to the job-offer stage,  primarily focusing on executive & leadership level roles.

You’ll serve as primary contact with our internal stakeholders, candidates, and preferred agencies, to build a strategy to acquire top executive talent. You’ll also work with your team to deliver thoughtfully built and engaged talent pools for our hiring needs.

You’ll work with our executive leadership and the People team to continue our inclusive, consistent framework for our hiring, and may implement new processes to streamline multi-dimensional sourcing, engagement, and hiring efforts. You’ll establish a referral network, and help to build an executive recruiting “voice” for Cityblock. At times, you may be asked to compose job descriptions. 

Requirements for the Role: 

  • 4+ years in full-cycle recruiting, specifically for executive and leadership roles across multiple dimensions of an organization.
  • Experience working inside an executive, retained-search agency. 
  • Experience in managing senior level candidate relationships, and relationship management with executive search firms.
  • Proven track record in leading senior level conversations for candidate and agency calibrations, and influencing team members to take action. 
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with key stakeholders and executive leadership across functions.
  • Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter and other tools for both direct sourcing, pipelining and nurturing.
  • Proficiency in using ATS systems, ideally Greenhouse, or (ie: Lever, iCims, Taleo).
  • Experience in direct-sourcing of this talent using multiple mechanisms (ie: Linkedin Recruiter, Sourcing boards, boolean search, direct networking, alumni associations, and innovative means to access talent).
  • You are an adaptable, organized, efficient, independent self-starter and problem-solver, with strategic thinking skills.

  • Devise a talent strategy for executive/leadership sourcing and hiring that aligns with our overarching business needs and reaches top, diverse talent.
  • You build a strategy for nurturing and hiring pipelines for Executive & Leadership roles across the organization. 
  • You’ll work across multiple teams as a trusted business partner, leading acquisition, market research, and hiring conversations.
  • You are operating as an advocate for Cityblock with all external relationships, and effectively managing relationships with our Search vendors.
  • You are influencing the relationships and hiring programs for roles which you are assigned.
  • You are an effective communicator; you are clear, concise, and have a point of view. 
  • You can successfully navigate an agile environment, with the ability to manage change and significant growth of a company.
  • Your job-offer acceptance rate on average is at least 75%

Nice to Have, But Not Required:

  • Come with a clinical & healthcare network at the executive and leadership lines.
  • Experience working at a venture-backed or commercial startup or an entrepreneurial environment. 
  • Experience interacting with Board Member offices and staff.
