Who You Are
You are an innovative, audience-centered Learning & Development Specialist who models and fosters a growth mindset across the business. Whether an hourly employee needs to learn the ins and outs of the business or a rising star is looking to gain business acumen to advance in their career, the L&D Specialist will create enticing, immersive learning experiences that cater to all learning styles. Leveraging our LMS platform, employees will gain access to comprehensive, interactive tools that are curated from external resources and/or created with internal expertise. The L&D Specialist has tremendous opportunity to foster a culture of learning through partnerships with teammates focused on engagement, performance, internal communications and recruiting. With the ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment, the specialist will strike the balance between proactive solutions and meeting the immediate needs of the organization. This role is for someone ready to grow in the L&D discipline or expand into a larger HR role as a career path.
Your Success ProfileWhat You Will Work On
- Understand the complexities of the Justworks business and build relationships across the business
- Work with HR Business Partners and subject matter experts on identifying development needs, recommending solutions and creating innovative content to level up Justworks employees
- Bring outside expertise and perspective to determine appropriate course content and course delivery methods (eLearning, instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, blended learning, etc.).
- Translate instructional concepts into innovative, on-brand, interactive, one-of-a-kind learning solutions (eLearning, quick reference guides, user guides/manuals, course materials, etc., for various learning applications including technical system rollouts)
- Design and implement high-impact and sustainable learning and talent development programs that span across the employee lifecycle in support of our strategic goals and objectives
- Own the content strategy and vendor relationship for our LMS+, “The Works”, hosted on Wisetail
- Ensure all content supports the creation of an inclusive culture where all employees feel they have the opportunity to be successful
- Produce analytical strategies for measuring and assessing results of learning initiatives and implementing enhancements
- Develop, organize, plan, and present various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for new employees
- Perform administrative duties, as required, including maintaining content and training records in The Works

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of learning and development experience with at least some experience in a high growth, technical or start-up environment
- Experience creating innovative and scalable onboarding experiences
- Strong analytical skills, the ability to analyse data and create meaningful conclusions which will inform development strategies
- Intellectual curiosity, a strong growth-mindset, and the desire to constantly improve
- Excellent facilitation and communications skills as well as exceptional collaboration and influence skills across all levels of an organization
- Commitment to driving diversity, equity & inclusion initiatives and a strong personal conviction toward combating racism
- Strong project management skills and experience managing cross-functional relationships and priorities
- Proven strategic agility, ability to succeed in a fast-paced, continuously-evolving environment
