Office Manager (Part-time)

We’re looking for a Part-time Office Manager to support the day to day operations of our fast-growing team. This role initially reports to the Chief of Staff.
Garner is headquartered in NYC and this person would be expected to work from the office 15-20hrs a week.
Responsibilities will include:
-Overseeing the employee experience in our NYC office, including: managing general office operations (e.g.ordering supplies and equipment), supervising office vendors, and communicating with the landlord on maintenance issues
-Helping to drive company culture by planning great company-wide events (e.g. virtual social events, annual offsite) and other opportunities for employees / teams to connect
-Supporting the People and Talent teams in managing key events across the employee lifecycle, such as onboarding, offboarding, and job anniversaries
-Maintaining organization of company’s physical space and digital filerooms (e.g. Google Drive, company wiki)
-Participating in special projects including (but not limited to) organizing and mailing materials to clients, investigating new office spaces in NYC, and/or other critical administrative projects for the executive team
Ideal candidate has:
-Previous experience working in a similar operational or administrative role, preferably for an early stage startup
-Excellent written and oral communication skills
-Strong interpersonal skills with a positive outlook and upbeat energy
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-A desire to work in a rapidly evolving startup environment
-A desire to be a part of our mission to improve the healthcare system
-A willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and do whatever is necessary to ensure company success

The salary range for this position is: $25-30/hour. Compensation for this role will depend on a variety of factors including qualifications, skills and applicable laws.
