About The Role

Common is looking for an energetic, detail oriented and highly motivated person to join our People Operations Team. Reporting to the Director of People Operations, the People Operations Associate will be responsible for handling all day-to-day support as it relates to benefits and payroll administration, talent management, policy and procedure, onboarding and offboarding, and internal data management and HR systems. We are looking for someone who is quick to build relationships at all levels of the organization and is always proactive and positive in your approach. You love to work in a fast paced environment. You are passionate about people and compliance and always going above and beyond to ensure employees feel valued.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with payroll and benefits through our PEO
  • Work with hiring managers to ensure all open job descriptions are compelling and aligned with the needed role
  • Manage the entire employee life-cycle process by spearheading the onboarding process including drafting offers letters, managing the review process, performance management and offboarding
  • Be the point person for all employee inquiries as it relates to any People Ops administrative matters or systems
  • Provide full support to managers around 360 performance management process
  • Monitor and manage internal HR systems and databases, providing training to all staff on systems
  • Coordinate with the Director of People Ops on all immigration matters including employee visa renewals

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in People Operations/Human Resources
  • Ability to work with confidential information and maintain a high level of discretion
  • Highly motivated with strong time management and organizational skills
  • Scrappy and resourceful problem solver
  • BA / BS degree
  • PHR/SPHR preferred but not required
