As a People Operations Coordinator, you will help us support our great people as well as on-board new great people! You will be part of a tight-knit, dynamic, and detail-oriented team, so a collaborative spirit is a must.
What You'll Do:
- Support Zocdoc'rs by answering team member questions and providing concise and timely information.
- Lead new hire Onboarding, including processing new hire paperwork, verifying I-9 documentation, maintaining employee files, and assisting with new employee background checks.
- Assist with the administration of employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and terminations. Process benefit changes through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
- Perform HRIS data entry and employee file maintenance.
- Respond to requests for employment verification.
- Respond to claims for unemployment benefits.
- Maintain confidentiality of all employee records and information.
What's Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least one year of work experience in an HR or HR-related field
- Experience with HRIS is a plus
- Experience with Excel is a plus
- Approachable demeanor and clear written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills
- High level of attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential information
- The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and a love for challenges
