People Operations Manager
Movable Ink’s People Team is looking for an eager, can-do People Operations Manager to support our global employees and future growth. The People Operations Manager will focus on streamlining manual processes, ensuring compliance and own everything policy related. By orchestrating a seamless new hire onboarding experience, the People Operations Manager will play a major role in delivering an Inkcredible hiring experience which is vital to retaining our amazing Inkers.
Responsibilities of the People Operations Manager:
- Serve as point of contact for all employees regarding questions and issues related to company policies, procedures and immigration
- Partner with business teams to build, manage and execute HR processes and policies
- Own immigration processes and communications internally and externally
- Own compliance and document management processes including I-9 compliance, termination letters, company policies, benefits and compensation notices, etc.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of relevant employment laws in all appropriate jurisdictions including staying abreast of new and updated regulations
- Leverage data and provide analysis and insight of people trends, internal and external
- Continuously identify and support opportunities for process improvement and scalability across the company
- Create dashboard for the people team to monitor attrition, retention, hires, etc
- Responsible for all new policy design and deployment
- Leads the implementation and roll-out of new employee policies, owns global handbooks, stays up to date with law/policy changes
- Conducts process for regular audits of employees files to ensure compliance
- Own and deliver onboarding training to new hires
Preferred Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- 6+ years of progressive experience in HR and project management
- Self-starter who is also creative and innovative
- Experience within high growth and fast paced technology company environments
- In-depth understanding of employment laws and compliance practices
- Super attention to detail, organizational skills and multitasking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to act swiftly under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and processes
- Strong sense of urgency, initiative and problem solving skills
- Ability to juggle multiple and competing priorities with the utmost professionalism and integrity while working autonomously
- Experience working with ADP/ADP Workforce and Greenhouse
- Experience with Google productivity tools, including Docs, Forms, Sheets, Gmail, and Calendar
