Job description
About the Company
HireArt is a Y-Combinator backed contract staffing platform that's changing how companies hire, manage, and employ their W-2 contract workers. We've helped hundreds of great companies, including Toyota Research Institute, Facebook, Nasdaq, and Lyft, build and manage amazing teams of W-2 contractors.
HireArt is building the talent cloud for W-2 contractors, providing clients a full-stack platform through which they can instantly access pre-recruited, pre-vetted, ready-to-hire contract talent aggregated and curated from dozens of sources. With HireArt, it's as easy to source and employ W-2 contractors on demand as it is for SMBs to hire and pay freelancers on UpWork or Fiverr.
We're growing rapidly (Deloitte ranked us the 66th fastest growing technology company in 2020, and Inc. Magazine ranked us #223) and looking for a Recruiting Assistant to support hiring needs from our growing roster of clients and the growth of our talent cloud. We work with some of the world's most respected companies, and our Recruitment Team works daily to ensure they have access to the best contract talent available.
HireArt values diversity and is an equal opportunity employer, which is why we are interested in every qualified candidate, regardless of their background or how they identify.
About the Role
HireArt strives to "humanize" applicants' job search - everyone who applies to a job through HireArt knows where they stand in the hiring process, and every application is assessed by people on our Sourcing Team. We want someone who is sharp, focused, and conscientious to play an integral part in our sourcing and screening efforts.
The Sourcing Department is tasked with matching ideal candidates to an ever-growing number of open positions for our clients. You'll play a key role in the early stages of the application process by assessing all resumes and applications in a timely manner. You'll ensure that team Recruiters know who the top candidates are and can move them forward in the process as quickly as possible.
You'll also support our sourcing efforts by sending out email blasts to qualified candidates in our database to let them know about new roles, and contributing to collaborative projects designed to improve team productivity and efficiency.
The ideal person will be process oriented, able to prioritize, possess solid interpersonal communication skills, and be able to confidently make informed decisions. You should also be eager to gain expertise in identifying qualified candidates for a range of roles, from administrative to engineering.
Requirements
You should be:

  • A team-player who is willing to jump in, help out, and take on new tasks
  • Empathetic to the ups and downs of the job search process
  • Able to interpret how job requirements translate to candidates' experiences
  • Comfortable doing tasks where many small details each have equal importance
  • Process-oriented, detail-oriented, and vigilant

You must have:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1+ years of professional experience
  • Excellent communication and comprehension skills with the ability to detect errors in written communication and pick up on important information when reading
  • Knowledge of professions within various industries and business segments

We work on roles that encompass office administration, recruiting, project management, software engineering, marketing, and finance, among other things, and are looking for candidates who can begin to make an impact in their first week of employment, therefore:

  • Related experience or education/training in one or more of those areas is a plus
  • Previous experience as a teaching assistant or Instructor grading assignments at the college level is a plus
  • Previous experience sourcing candidates, screening resumes, or recruiting for roles within an office setting is preferred

Commitment: This is a permanent, full-time position with HireArt. This position can be performed remotely and is open to U.S.-based candidates. Unfortunately, we are not able to sponsor visas or employ corp-to-corp.
HireArt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and values a diverse and inclusive work environment. Diverse candidates and unrepresented minorities are encouraged to apply.
Company description
HireArt is building the first full-stack platform for businesses to source, employ, and manage contract W-2 employees. Our employment platform is the world's first fully-featured HRIS for the contract W-2 workforce, a massive and growing segment of the labor market. We combine hiring and employment in a single platform, creating a magical experience for businesses: search, interview, make offers, and manage workers, all in one place. Once on board, HireArt provides contract workers with a caring home base that comes with all of the benefits & support associated with permanent employment.
Our goal is to enable businesses to focus on the people who make up their workforce, instead of the tools to manage it. That's why we've developed a transparent and simple to use end-to-end platform that provides contract work opportunities with the security and stability of traditional W-2 employment while still giving businesses the flexibility they need to scale their workforces.
