What you’ll do:

  • Schedule a high volume of complex interviews within our technology/engineering organization
  • Responsible for the candidate interview experience from first contact through the interview process
  • Maintain accurate reporting within our internal tools and recruiting systems 
  • Act as the liaison between hiring managers, candidates and recruiters



What’s required:

  • Impeccable attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize accordingly 
  • A 4-year degree from an accredited college or university
  • Experience with Google Suite a plus

Years ago, Zocdoc’s site crashed from a spike in traffic. But Dube’s team didn’t just patch a short-term fix. “We re-architected our platform to support five times the traffic we previously could,” Dube said. Building a product that keeps up with heightened demand has been key during the COVID-19 outbreak, especially as her team implements features like risk screenings and virtual video visits.

Building a product that keeps up with heightened demand has been key during the COVID-19 outbreak, especially as her team implements features like risk screenings and virtual video visits.
We continue to focus heavily on distributed architecture to be able to support our platform’s growth by an order of magnitude — and keep bringing healthcare closer to the patients we serve.

Shaping the patient experience means building solutions that also impact the moments before and after an appointment. Accordingly, Wilson has worked across the tech stack to realize production deployments, automate account processes for providers, and even write Zocdoc’s inaugural mobile API. “Successful people on the tech team understand that we need to be nimble, innovative and constantly processing feedback,” Wilson said.

Accordingly, Wilson has worked across the tech stack to realize production deployments, automate account processes for providers, and even write Zocdoc’s inaugural mobile API. “Successful people on the tech team understand that we need to be nimble, innovative and constantly processing feedback,” Wilson said.
Zocdoc is not mimicking any competitors in the online booking space. A lot of what we do is entirely new to us and we don’t have existing products to copy.

In order to make Zocdoc’s listing pages faster and boost their rankings for the benefit of patients, Huang and her patient growth team dove into the mechanics of server-side rendering and React front-end technology. But they found that the best solutions don’t always involve adopting new technologies. In this case, Huang and co. simply leveraged the foundational building blocks of web pages to help patients find Zocdoc.
In order to make Zocdoc’s listing pages faster and boost their rankings for the benefit of patients, Huang and her patient growth team dove into the mechanics of server-side rendering and React front-end technology. But they found that the best solutions don’t always involve adopting new technologies. In this case, Huang and co. simply leveraged the foundational building blocks of web pages to help patients find Zocdoc.
My experience at Zocdoc has given me a broader understanding of front-end technology beyond the basic building blocks of React development and given me a taste of the complexities of front-end architecture.
