ABOUT THIS ROLE

The Haven Life Recruiting Team is responsible for the full-cycle recruiting experience, from sourcing and attracting a diverse pool of candidates to interviewing and hiring exceptional employees at Haven Life in our New York City and Boston offices.  

Our future is filled with lots of growth so we are looking for a collaborative and team-oriented recruiting coordinator to join our small but mighty team. Your role will require you to work with hiring managers, agencies, candidates, and your fellow recruiting team members. In some cases, you’ll also be working closely with other members of the People & Culture team to support broader talent and culture efforts requiring recruiting resources such as an internship program, onboarding, and new hire assimilation.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Responsible for administration of pre and post offer recruiting activities including - ATS and req management, job posting compliance, candidate scheduling, offer letters, background checks, new hire immigration, onboarding, and records management.
  • Act as initial point of contact for managers and candidates related to all recruiting inquires. Coordinate and delegate tasks to the appropriate person on the team 
  • Responsible for recruiting data management - tracking and analyzing data and identifying functional needs (i.e., # of interviewers, training, etc.) 
  • Formulating methods to improve recruitment policies, processes and practices as well as recommending changes.
  • May assist with execution of recruiting activities and programs including D&I, interns, interview, and intake meetings. 


REQUIREMENTS

  • BA/BS in relevant field
  • 1+ years related work experience 
  • Demonstrate ability to deliver a world class candidate experience and recruiting process
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with other teammates
  • Willingness to learn new technologies within a fast-paced environment and share those learnings with internal (employees) and external stakeholders (clients) quickly and efficiently
  • Ability to thoughtfully drive process; proposes change as needed for the whole team to execute more efficiently
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle competing priorities
  • Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer without requiring visa sponsorship
  • Must be able to work full-time from our Manhattan office when we return to the office

We're located on Park Ave just south of Grand Central, a few short blocks to the Empire State Building and very close to a stone throw away from Korea town.
