About the role:

We're seeking a Recruiting Manager who can act as a player/coach for our non tech teams, which include GTM (Go-to-Market) and G&A. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a team at a small tech startup or a large successful technology company. You should have a strong understanding of the technology industry, have experience working with several hiring managers, and have experience filling roles across different departments in a fast-paced environment. 

You should be well-versed in building and managing your own recruiting pipeline. This role will manage a req load while managing a team of 3+ full-cycle recruiters. Our goal is to provide a strong experience for our candidates and hiring managers, and you will be essential to that success. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, scale, and hire for our non tech business across the organization
  • Lead the full-cycle recruiting process across a broad range of roles, especially those on sales and business teams
  • Proactively source top talent, gain candidate interest, and pitch candidates on Foursquare's mission and core values
  • Build and foster relationships with senior business leaders as a trusted advisor to drive talent strategy and measurable business impact
  • Develop innovative recruitment strategies and manage the end to end hiring activities of assigned requisitions, delivering an efficient and effective service to all involved in the hiring process
  • Lead with an agile mindset, focused on problem solving through creative solutions, and thrive in an environment where growth and change are the only constants
  • Champion the data driven recruiting mindset, using data and analytics to tell stories and drive talent & business outcomes
  • Coordinate and support DEI recruitment initiatives
  • Special talent and/or HR-related projects as needed

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a manager, preferably in-house 
  • 7+ years of recruiting experience - inhouse and agency preferred
  • Experience working with senior leaders to determine priorities and needs
  • Proven track record of compassionate management or strong coaching skills
  • Knowledgeable about current market trends and competitive data
  • Strong ability to source and build candidate pipelines using a variety of methods
  • A passion for people and building great teams
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities and strong sense of accountability
  • Experience with an ATS and/or HRIS, preferably Greenhouse
  • Bachelor’s Degree
