We’re in an exciting period of growth and are always seeking extremely talented and passionate individuals who share our vision for helping visual content creators produce their best work.

About the Role

As a Senior Recruiter, you will play a vital role in recruiting for roles across all of our departments, but also any additional roles on the software engineering side that might come up. You will support hiring managers and their teams by helping them build out their recruiting capabilities, teaching them to leverage recruiting tools, interviewing techniques, and recruiting best practices through formal training and daily interactions. In this partnership, you will also work with hiring managers to design end-to-end recruiting strategies for their roles, help them find creative ways to source great talent, and guide them in building out robust, customized interview processes. You’re entrepreneurial, process oriented, collaborative and innovative in order to source and hire top talent and provide a unique candidate experience.

So what does that look like on a daily basis? Glad you asked! Let's take a look:

You come in the morning with a full inbox--a candidate needs to reschedule, another one is excited to move forward but you’re still anxiously waiting to hear back from the Technical Program Manager you made an offer to yesterday! You go through your morning routine: reviewing inbound applications, looking at new profiles on Hired and making sure your pipelines are all updated.  Phew, inbox is at zero--for now.

You open up LinkedIn Recruiter and start a new boolean search for NYC customer support specialists that have experience with Adobe Premiere--there’s 2 Support openings that you’ve been scouring profiles for the past 2 months, that needed to be filled yesterday.

You send off inmails to everyone you’ve found, and realize it’s time for your first call of the day.  Today isn’t too bad, you have 6 phone screens.  Hopefully at least 4 of them are quality so you can move them forward to the hiring manager.

There are 2 Content Marketers onsite today, meeting with the team and the coordinator’s already ushering them in now.  Hopefully things go well, since the Head of Marketing was excited for both!

You’re on your 3rd call of the day now, and taking copious notes--this person seems like the perfect addition for the Operations team--this role has been refreshing to recruit for since it’s not on the eng side of the house.  You send a quick message over to the VP of Ops to get them hyped.  Feedback is submitted to Greenhouse, and you’re onto the next thing!

Time to check emails again, since you’re back up to 25 in your inbox.  It looks like that Implementation Specialist is withdrawing, so you’re back to square 1 on that role.  You block time off on your calendar for the next day to make sure you can spend more time on it.

The rest of your calls are finished up by now, so you check in with the Data team.  You hear about a final round candidate absolutely breezing through their interview with the CEO.  Yes!  You send a message to the Head of Finance to get the final comp approval and schedule the offer call for the next morning.  Fingers crossed!

You take one final glance at your inbox and there’s the email - the Technical Program Manager accepted your offer! You get a high five from the hiring manager and remember why you do what you do.

Sounds like a fun day, right? If so, let's chat.

An Insider's view of Frame.io

What are some social events your company does?

Even with fun seasonal events, there are 2 recurring ones that stick out to me. We have a Meet the New Hires happy hour where new folks get to meet others from the company that otherwise they might not. The other is the monthly birthday celebration where we hang out, have some treats, and hype up that month's birthdays as they spin our prize wheel.

JP

HR Coordinator

What projects are you most excited about?

At Frame.io we’re re-imagining workflows and encountering unique problems all the time. I love tackling projects that at first feel like a completely tangled mess. Being heads-down on it for a while, then pulling back to see the full picture and going “Aha! This totally makes sense now.” I love that feeling!

Carolina

Sr. Product Designer

What makes someone successful on your team?

Organization, time management, and grit are three traits that make someone successful on the Business Development Team. Sales in general is definitely a rollercoaster ride and not every month is the same. As a BDR, staying even-keeled through both the good & tough times always leads to success!

Matt

Sr. Business Development Representative

How do you make yourself accessible to the rest of the team?

Being accessible requires self-awareness as a manager. I communicate consistently with my team that I’m available to help tackle issues remotely or in person. In the office, I sit in a visible area close to my team so that swinging by my desk to AMA feels casual. Ultimately, it’s about creating an environment where asking for help feels low stakes.

Rachael

Business Operations Director
