We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Technical Recruiter to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition team. This person is passionate about creating incredible candidate experiences, is a champion for diversity & inclusion, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Though we sell to financial institutions, we act like a true tech-driven start-up and need a recruiter who thrives in taking the initiative while understanding the challenges of this highly competitive market.
Our team is lean (and growing!) and we pride ourselves on getting things done and having fun while we do it. You will be highly visible and empowered to take ownership and partner with the Global Head of Recruiting along with our Tech Leadership team to create efficiencies and enhance current processes in the name of attracting top talent into our MarketAxess family.
What You’ll Do
- Be responsible for full recruiting lifecycle including sourcing, screening, and guiding candidates throughout their interviewing process ensuring a positive candidate experience
- Work closely with Hiring Managers to understand hiring needs, craft compelling and targeted job descriptions, define candidate qualifications and guidance on building out the appropriate interview process
- Build relationships with candidates to understand what matters most to them, identify their key motivators in their job search and balance their needs and wants with ours.
- Utilize our new Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse) for all candidate activity to ensure data integrity and internal transparency on pipelines
Qualifications
What You Bring to the Table
- 3+ years of full cycle recruiting experience, with at least 2 years recruiting for Java engineers
- A proven track record for successfully identifying, qualifying, and closing exceptional technical talent
- A go-getter mentality and an ability to thrive in an environment where you need to be a strategic thinker and self-starter
- Experience activating passive, candidates in this highly competitive hybrid and remote market through various means
- An excitement to represent MarketAxess and be able to confidently articulate our story (who we are, where we are heading and what we need) to candidates
- A metrics driven work ethic and ability to create and leverage reporting to provide insights and recommendations
- A proven ability to organize and manage numerous candidates, interview processes, pipelines, etc. at once
- Prior experience working within or supporting FinTech firms
- The ability to be in office at least twice a week in Hudson Yards, Manhattan

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $100,000 USD to $140,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity and other benefit programs.
