Labcorp is seeking a Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Intern to join our team on a remote basis.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours.

Job Responsibilities:

• Machine Learning Model Development & Deployment: Design, develop, and deploy production-ready machine learning models through real-time API integrations, contributing to enterprise-scale AI solutions that directly impact patient care and healthcare delivery across Labcorp's global diagnostic operations.

• Generative AI Application & Innovation: Apply cutting-edge Generative AI techniques to solve complex healthcare and business challenges, working alongside experienced data scientists to implement state-of-the-art AI capabilities that enhance diagnostic workflows and operational efficiency.

• End-to-End AI Solution Implementation: Participate in the full lifecycle of AI solution delivery—from data exploration and model development to integration, testing, and monitoring—while gaining hands-on experience with enterprise-level machine learning infrastructure and best practices in a healthcare setting.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Working towards postgraduate degree in Science, Mathematics, Computer Science or other related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current or previous LabCorp experience

Additional Job Standards:

• Experience delivering multiple projects in an academic or professional setting

• Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues

• Completed coursework in machine learning, data mining, and statistical analysis, applying learned concepts in real-world scenarios

• Experience in programming languages including Python, R, and SQL for data manipulation and analysis

• Embraces diverse ways of thinking through various forms collaboration and partnership

Pay Range: $35-$40

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
