Role Overview
The professional will be a member of the Operational Due Diligence team within the Investment Research Team within Wealth Management Investment Solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the insurance carrier operational due diligence process
Setting up and disseminating operational due diligence questionnaires across a range of insurance carriers
Reviewing and scoring responses to operational due diligence questionnaires
Leading and participating in operational due diligence meetings with insurance carriers (US and EMEA); this includes evaluating and forming an opinion on various operational risks such as organizational infrastructure, service providers, business resiliency, information security, compliance and regulatory issues
Representing the firm in front of C-level executives (COO, CFO, CCO, CTO) at insurance carriers
Working collaboratively with control partners in governance, risk, compliance and internal audit
Presenting analyses, findings and opinions at Governance Committee meetings
Essential Skills & Experience:
Qualified professional with minimum of 7 years relevant work experience
Experience performing and/or an understanding of how operational due diligence is conducted
Related experience in operations, audit, compliance, consulting, and/or insurance (e.g., Big 4 Audit/Advisory, management consulting, regulatory agency)
Familiarity with insurance company operations is a plus
Advanced proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs including Excel and PowerPoint
Exceptional organization and analytical skills
Investigative skills and attention to detail
Strong written, presentation, and communication skills
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems and to manage multiple tasks at once
Strong initiative, energy and confidence completing assignments
