About You: 

Versana is seeking an experienced IT Operations & End User Computing Manager to lead and oversee all corporate IT operations, end-user computing, and manage service provider engagement. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of the company's IT systems, hardware assets, and user support functions. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

IT Operations & End User Computing, Assets & Infrastructure 

  • Own day-to-day IT operations and end-user technology services across the organization. 

  • Develop and maintain IT operational policies, standards, and procedures. 

  • Ensure high-quality IT support delivery for employees across all locations. 

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the employee IT experience. 

  • Ensure business continuity and operational readiness of corporate IT services. 

  • Oversee lifecycle management, support, and security of corporate technology assets, including laptops, mobile devices, conference room equipment, printers, networking equipment, wireless infrastructure, VPN, remote access solutions, and endpoint management platforms. 

  • Oversee corporate networking, VPN connectivity, and office technology environments. 

  • Coordinate hardware refreshes, software updates, patching, and asset lifecycle management activities. 

Microsoft 365 & IAM 

  • Manage and support Microsoft 365 services including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, OneDrive, and Microsoft Defender. 

  • Oversee licensing management, user administration, platform governance, and productivity tooling. 

  • Drive adoption and effective use of collaboration and productivity technologies while maintaining governance standards. 

  • Manage employee onboarding, offboarding, and access provisioning processes. 

  • Administer Microsoft 365 user accounts, groups, licenses, and access controls. 

  • Conduct periodic access reviews and ensure timely removal of access for departing employees. 

  • Partner with HR and Information Security teams to maintain role-based access controls and identity governance processes. 

Security & Compliance 

  • Partner closely with Information Security to strengthen the corporate IT security posture. 

  • Implement and maintain endpoint security controls, device compliance policies (CIS benchmarks preferred), and vulnerability remediation processes. 

  • Support incident response, investigations, audits, and compliance initiatives. 

  • Ensure security standards are consistently applied across corporate technology assets and environments. 

Vendor & Managed Service Provider Management 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for IT managed service providers and technology partners. 

  • Manage service delivery, ticket queues, escalations, and operational performance. 

  • Conduct regular vendor reviews and drive continuous improvement in service quality and performance. 

Must Haves 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. 

  • 5+ years of experience in Corporate IT, IT Operations, or End User Computing environments. 

  • 3+ years of experience managing vendors, managed service providers, or IT operations teams. 

  • Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID environments. 

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Defender, Conditional Access, EDR solutions, networking technologies, and modern endpoint security practices. 

  • Experience with endpoint management and mobile device management platforms, preferably Microsoft Intune. 

  • Strong understanding of identity and access management principles. 

  • Experience supporting employee onboarding, offboarding, and access governance processes. 

  • Strong knowledge of endpoint security, patch management, hardware lifecycle management, and vulnerability remediation. 

  • Experience supporting hybrid and remote work environments. 

  • Hands on experience supporting macOS and Windows.
