We are always moving forward – always pushing ourselves to go further in our efforts to build a more equitable, inclusive world for our employees, our customers and our communities.

The Role

Kyndryl is seeking a Legal Operations Manager (Commercial) to lead the transformation of contract templates into a structured, system-enabled contracting model within Icertis CLM, while driving broader optimization of the commercial contracting function.

This is a strategic, hands-on role responsible for designing and governing how contract templates and clause libraries are structured, generated, and managed within Icertis, in partnership with Offerings, Go-To-Market (GTM), CLM, and CIO teams to ensure alignment with business models, risk tolerance, and scalability.

In this role you will be responsible for program leadership and process optimization across the contracting lifecycle, including enhancing legal intake and workflow management (Checkbox), enabling system integrations, and evaluating and driving adoption of AI-enabled tools to improve contract review, drafting, and negotiation efficiency. Additionally, you will play a critical role in advancing Kyndryl’s shift to structured, automated contracting and enabling scalable, system-supported execution.

Key Responsibilities

Phase 1: Contract Transformation & CLM Architecture (Primary Focus)

  • Lead the transformation of legacy Word-based contract templates into structured clause libraries within Icertis
  • Design, standardize, and govern clause libraries, fallback language, and template structures to support automated contract generation
  • Collaborate with CLM and CIO teams to configure and enable document generation within Icertis
  • Partner with Offering Managers to develop and maintain offering-aligned contract templates
  • Work with the CLM team to define and govern metadata standards and taxonomies to enable reporting, compliance, and automation
  • Act as the Legal Department’s focal point for the design, implementation, and continuous optimization of Kyndryl’s contracting framework

Phase 2: Contracting Enablement, Intake & Optimization (Expanded Scope)

Intake & Workflow Optimization

  • Enhance the legal intake and workflow management system (Checkbox) for commercial requests
  • Drive integration between Checkbox, Icertis, and upstream GTM/sales systems
  • Use data insights, metrics, and user feedback to continuously improve workflow efficiency and user experience
  • Program Management & Innovation
  • Lead initiatives to improve contract negotiation efficiency, consistency, and cycle time
  • Evaluate and support adoption of AI-enabled contract review and redlining tools
  • Monitor adoption, compliance, and performance of contracting frameworks and tools
  • Partner across Legal, GTM, Finance, and Operations to drive alignment on commercial execution strategies
  • Create and maintain centralized knowledge resources to support Legal and business users
