Job description

As a Logistics Coordinator, you play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of incoming parts and outgoing equipment across our operations. Your work is essential in arranging transportation, preparing required import/export documentation, and supporting shipment execution from start to finish. By staying organized, responsive, and detail oriented in a fast paced environment, you help ensure shipments are completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with all requirements. You will report to the Logistics Team Leader.


You will:

Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including transportation scheduling and carrier selection.

Prepare and manage shipping, import, and export documentation.

Track shipments, resolve issues, and communicate updates across teams.

Process and maintain shipment data and transactions in SAP.

Ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulations, and safety standards.

Support continuous improvement by monitoring shipping performance and identifying efficiencies.

 High school diploma (or equivalent) with 1-5 years of experience in manufacturing or shipping OR a bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

Strong customer service mindset with the ability to ensure shipments are accurate, on-time, and support overall customer satisfaction.

Ability to quickly learn new tasks and complete work accurately and efficiently.

Excellent communication and time management skills


Requirements

Position Requirements: 

  • High School diploma required; prefer some college course work. 
  • 1-2 years’ experience in construction, trade, or other hands-on logistics background. 
  • Ability to pass required drug screening and background check. 
  • This is a safety sensitive position; the ability to maintain the appropriate standards is required.

  • Occasionally work around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals.  
  • While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  
  • The employee must occasionally lift and /or move more than 30 pounds.  
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision; Distance vision; Peripheral vision; Depth perception and ability to adjust focus. 
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, including protective eye wear, hard hat, lab coat, gloves, steel-toed shoes, and hearing protection. 
  • Must be able to safely access and traverse indoor and outdoor obstacles for site inspections, including climbing ladders, walking on stairs, catwalks, and other types of uneven surfaces where activity inspections are needed.
