Senior Analyst, Advertising Finance - Sales Compensation

Job Description

The focus of the Sales Compensation team is to support the advertising sales teams by administering plans that incentivize and reward performance. This team is responsible for implementation, calculation, reporting, and payment of sales compensation programs for sales incentive eligible People Inc.

  • Contribute to the quarterly SIP payout process by organizing and calculating data using Excel and Google Sheets for most of DDM’s sales force.
  • Support the design, execution, and communication of the sales incentive plans.
  • Contribute to the improvement of sales incentive plans with actionable insights.
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams, including Revenue Strategy, to identify and address issues impacting business performance.
  • Complete ad hoc reporting in a timely manner.
  • Meet crucial payroll deadlines.

40%     

  • Navigate Salesforce and advertising revenue reports to research and answer revenue and sales goal related questions.
  • Provide ideas for process efficiencies and aid in the development of sales comp team’s internal reporting documents.

The Role’s Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Finance, Business, Accounting and/or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in Sales Strategy, Operations, Sales Compensation, and/or Sales Finance

Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities:

  • Excellent process management skills.
  • Familiar with sales compensation plan mechanics
  • Strong critical reasoning skills focused on diagnosing problems and determining effective solutions
  • Strong and effective oral/written communication skills
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills required
  • Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, time management, and ability to meet deadlines.

Pay Range

Salary: New York: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00

The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of People Inc's total compensation package for employees.
