Inmar Intelligence is seeking a highly strategic and client-focused Manager, Client Strategy to lead a team responsible for developing client-facing proposals, strategic narratives, campaign recommendations, and presentation materials across the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) portfolio.
This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Client Success, Analytics, Media, Product, and Retail—ensuring client objectives are translated into compelling, insight-driven strategies and recommendations that support revenue growth and strengthen client engagement.
The Manager, Client Strategy is responsible for both people leadership and strategic execution. This individual will coach and develop Client Strategy team members, manage team priorities and workload, maintain high standards for strategic output, and provide hands-on strategic guidance for complex or high-priority client opportunities.
The ideal candidate combines strong people leadership with expertise in CPG, shopper marketing, retail media, integrated campaign strategy, and executive-level storytelling. This leader should be comfortable moving between coaching team members, reviewing strategic work, collaborating with cross-functional partners, and directly contributing to important client opportunities.
This is not a traditional design or coordination role. The Manager, Client Strategy is accountable for ensuring the team consistently develops strategic, differentiated, and operationally achievable recommendations that effectively communicate Inmar's value in the market.

Team Leadership & Development:

-Lead, coach, and develop a team of Client Strategy professionals

-Set clear expectations for strategic thinking, presentation quality, client readiness, and executional feasibility

-Provide regular coaching, feedback, and professional development

Client Strategy & Strategic Storytelling:

-Lead and oversee the development of client-facing strategies, proposals, and recommendations

-Guide team members in translating client business goals into actionable media, audience, shopper, and campaign strategies

-Ensure strategic narratives align to objectives such as:

  • Brand awareness

  • Trial and acquisition

  • Basket growth

  • Repeat purchase

  • Retail conversion

Review and provide strategic direction on proposal decks, presentations, and campaign recommendations

Ensure client-facing materials are:

  • Insight-driven

  • Strategically differentiated

-Provide hands-on strategic support for complex, high-value, or high-priority opportunities

-Guide development of post-campaign recommendations that identify performance insights, key learnings, optimization opportunities, and future growth opportunities

Pre-Sales Partnership & Revenue Enablement:

-Partner closely with Sales and Client Success leaders throughout the pre-sale planning process

-Oversee strategic support for:

  • RFP responses
  • Proposals

-Guide the development of:

  • Audience strategies

  • Channel mix recommendations

  • Campaign approaches

-Participate directly in strategic pitches and client presentations as needed

Strategic Campaign Recommendations:

Guide the development of audience and campaign recommendations using:

  • Shopper and retailer data

  • Behavioral insights

  • Category intelligence

  • Campaign performance

Ensure recommendations appropriately consider:

  • Media channels
  • Audience segmentation
  • Campaign structures
  • Retail activation approaches
  • Measurement strategies

Ensure strategies align with:

Identify opportunities to integrate:

Presentation Development & Executive Communication:

-Maintain high standards for the team's client-facing presentations and strategic materials

-Oversee the creation and refinement of:

  • Proposal decks

  • Strategic sales presentations

  • Wrap decks

  • Business reviews

  • Executive presentations

-Coach team members on translating complex data and strategies into clear, concise, and persuasive narratives

-Review key deliverables for:

  • Strategic quality

-Establish repeatable presentation frameworks, templates, and best practices

-Ensure recommendations clearly connect client objectives, insights, Inmar capabilities, and expected business outcomes

-Share client and market feedback with internal teams to help strengthen capabilities and go-to-market strategies

-Build strong relationships across teams to improve collaboration and speed to market

Team Operations & Process Improvement:

-Manage team intake, prioritization, assignments, and deadlines

-Balance resources across competing client and commercial priorities

-Establish clear workflows and expectations for strategic development and review

-Identify opportunities to improve speed, quality, and consistency through:

Required Qualifications

6–9+ years of experience in:

  • Client strategy
  • Media strategy

  • Shopper marketing

  • Retail media

  • Account strategy

-Previous experience managing, mentoring, or leading team members

-Strong understanding of:

At Inmar, compensation reflects our belief in integrity, transparency, and the value of individual contributions. The hiring range for this position is:

92,761.88 - 154,603.13 USD Annual

The final offer may vary based on factors such as geographic location, job-related skills, education, certifications, work experience, and other relevant considerations.

Depending on the job level and role, it may include:
