The Manager, Communications Strategy and Execution for Corporative Initiatives will be responsible for leading, managing and executing communications strategy and planning for key corporate initiatives that’ll raise brand awareness, inform, educate and influence internal and external audiences.
The person in this role needs to be able to respond to needs in a fast-paced environment while also proactively planning to develop and manage ambitious and growing corporate initiatives that are evolving as rapidly as we are. This includes partnering to define, develop and implement communication strategies as well as crafting and delivering high-quality content via automated emails personalized with variable data, live webinars, recorded videos, etc.
The individual will foster an environment of collaboration and work closely with company executives, subject matter experts and other stakeholder to understand needs. They will then strategically build out well-designed measurable campaigns with clear and effective takeaways that drive engagement.
RESPONSIBILITES:
Manages the strategy and execution of GEICO’s key corporate initiatives to develop those programs and meet business needs
Collaborates with business partner to research and translate complex concepts into well-crafted memorable and emotionally relevant content
Builds communications and materials that meet specialized needs while ensuring a compelling brand message across any medium, including internal and external channels.
Delivers high-quality content via automated emails personalized with variable data, live webinars, recorded videos, etc.
Able to manage and provide leadership to a small team of Communication Specialists and other business partners
Establishes processes that maximize our ability to collaborate and deliver results
Tracks and reports out on progress of programs and campaigns.
Generates steady supply of ideas to creatively meet business needs in new and profound ways
Demonstrates an understanding of GEICO’s business and industry.
Adheres to GEICO Code of Conduct, company policies, and operating principles
Meets attendance standard at business location to perform necessary job functions and to facilitate interaction with management and co-workers.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree required, degree focus in English, journalism, communications, public relations, related field is preferred or relevant years of experience
5+ years of experience developing and executing communications and brand strategies
Excellent writing skills and a strong ability to communicate ideas and concepts creatively and concisely
Passion for finding new and creative ways to reach an audience
Ability to work across teams and departments in a highly collaborative way
Strong project management skills; can juggle and organize multiple priorities
People management experience
Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment
Must be able to multi-task
Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing procedural information

Annual Salary
$88,150.00 - $157,850.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
