WHO WE ARE.

Glossier is a people-powered ecosystem, brought to life by engaging online and offline experiences. In 12 years, we have built an iconic brand that goes far beyond beauty. Our brand is built on trusted emotional connection, empathy, and consistency in how we show up for people every day. We are woven into everyday moments of people's lives, becoming part of their routines, their self-expression, and their confidence. We are defined not just by what we make, but by how we make people feel and the relationships we build over time. Our north-star values are to be Human, Curious, Playful, and Helpful. We are driven by a shared mission to become the Most Loved Lifestyle Brand in the World.

THE ROLE.

Glossier's Creative team is seeking a Manager of Creative Operations to own end-to-end project management across all of Glossier's physical spaces with Visual Merchandising as a core focus of the role. Beyond VM, this person will also support broader print production workstreams in partnership with Brand Design — including retail signage, OOH, postcards, press releases, vouchers, and other deliverables supporting marketing and retail tactics. This role is responsible for intake, validation, and prioritization of creative requests, maintenance of an always-accurate job tracking system, development of project and campaign schedules, creative resource management, and trafficking/release of final artwork. You will set your Creative partners up for success on a per-project basis and see those projects through to completion, working directly with the Wholesale team and external vendors/manufacturing partners. This role reports directly to the Director of Creative Operations.

EXPECTATIONS.

  • Own Visual Merchandising project management across Owned Retail and Wholesale — from creative ideation, fixture/build development through installation
  • Own all creative requests tied to physical retail, wholesale, and experiential — maintain requests in the creative workflow system, assess feasibility/actionability, and build project timelines with clear milestones from brief intake through launch/install based on vendor provided release dates
  • Extend creative operations support beyond Visual Merchandising to other print workstreams in partnership with Brand Design — including store collateral, OOH, marketing materials, and other deliverables supporting marketing and retail tactics
  • Ensure creative materials are prepared and routed on time for cross-functional, leadership, and retailer approvals — driving implementation of feedback and maintaining clear, proactive communication on image renewal requests and other recurring approval cycles
  • Serve as the key point of contact with the Wholesale team, Retail Operations, Brand Marketing, and external manufacturing/agency partners (fixtures, windows, build partners) to scope, align, and execute projects
  • Partner closely with Retail Operations, Brand Marketing and Brand Design on flagship stores across Visual Merchandising, fabrication and event activations; clearly communicating timeline and budget realities
  • Maintain close collaboration with Copy, Design, Art Direction, and Production Design, ensuring milestones are communicated and next steps are clear
  • Partner with the Director of Creative Operations on process improvement and implementation of workflow changes

KEY INGREDIENTS.

We know you're here to do great work, raise the bar, and make a meaningful impact, and we're here for that, too. While there's no single path to success, we've found that the key ingredients below set the foundation for doing your best work, thriving in the role, and ultimately making it your own (i.e. successfully bringing this formula to life).

  • 5+ years of Creative Operations and/or Project Management experience in full-service studio settings (in-house and/or agency), specializing in Visual Merchandising
  • Beauty, Retail/Fashion, or Prestige CPG industry experience preferred
  • Experience working with external Wholesale partners (e.g., Sephora, Space NK, Mecca) and manufacturing/build partners (fixtures, windows, event/experiential builds)
  • Familiarity with shop drawings, CAD renderings, planograms, schematics, and other fixture-related engineering drawings
  • Strong grasp of print production — understanding workflow on converting approved designs into vendor-ready mechanical artwork shared by production designer
  • Comfort managing a range of print deliverables beyond VM — signage, OOH, direct mail/postcards, press materials, vouchers, and similar marketing/retail assets
  • Experience aligning multiple stakeholders (Creative, Brand Marketing, Wholesale, Retail Operations, external vendors) on large-scale product launches, seasonal fixture updates, new-retailer entries, and experiential/event buildouts
  • Excellent scoping/estimating instincts, relationship-building, and written/visual communication skills
  • Highly skilled managing multiple concurrent workstreams across retail, wholesale, events, and print production without direct reports
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, and a creative workflow system (Wrike, Monday, Airtable, Asana, Figma); Adobe Creative Cloud a plus
