The Creative Excellence Hub is the engine driving Unilever Personal Care brands’ content performance. As a fully embedded agency team, CEH sits within the Unilever PC Marketing & Media Capabilities team, driving the company’s Social-First Demand Generation strategy. The team collaborates closely with colleagues at Unilever and WPP, and the team model requires a flexible in-office structure between both offices, located in Manhattan and Hoboken.  

 

CEH briefs, produces, and deploys modular social and digital assets at scale across national, retail media, and social campaigns. CEH's content strategy, production and planning daily workflows leverage an AI tooling ecosystem to unlock efficiencies at scale while driving creative excellence. The team operates as a centralized content hub to drive cross-functional collaboration with media, brand, and agency partners, in an end-to-end capacity, in lockstep from campaign brief through delivery and content optimizations.  

 

CEH is hiring an experienced Content Operations Manager to support planning, production, and delivery of Personal Care creative assets on all Skin Cleansing campaigns. This role ensures successful delivery of content across all campaigns and platforms by aligning cross-functional stakeholders and leading campaign workflows.   

 

Core Functional Responsibilities 

  • Lead campaign workflows for OTIF Content Delivery: 
  • Own workflow management from campaign intake through final asset deployment, ensuring clear handoffs, approvals, and accountability across all stakeholders. 
  • Build and manage project tracking boards with timelines in centralized project management tool Wrike.  Monitor timelines and proactively resolve bottlenecks to maintain flawless campaign execution 
  • Lead campaign communications across Creative, Brand and Agency teams, ensuring end to end orchestration of content workflows across stakeholders 
  • Align production schedules with brand, retail, and media timelines for seamless integration 
  • Coordinate stakeholder review and approval processes, ensuring consolidated, timely asset feedback received and actioned by CEH production team members  

 

  • Coordinate Asset Delivery Processes:  
  • Manage asset trafficking, approvals, and handoffs across internal and external partners. 
  • Ensure final assets meet channel specifications, naming conventions, and deployment requirements for every audience and platform.  
  • Track asset readiness and approval status to proactively mitigate delivery risks. 
  • Maintain asset inventories and delivery documentation across all campaign workstreams. 

 

  • Optimize Content Supply Chain Optimizations with a human-led, tech enabled mindset: 
  • Leverage AI-enabled planning, workflow, and content operations tools to improve efficiency, visibility, and speed-to-market. 
  • Support testing and adoption of emerging technologies that improve content planning, production, and deployment processes. 
  • Support development of clear content planning, production and delivery workflows with goal of creating speed, validity, and efficiency of content deployment 

 

Key Skills & Experience 

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Digital Media, Operations, or related field required.  
  • 6-8+ years of experience in content operations, marketing workflow management, or project coordination, including omnichannel content planning 
  • Proven ability to manage workflows against tight timelines with multiple stakeholders in fast-paced environments.  
  • Strong understanding of content production processes and digital asset management.  
  • Familiarity with AI-driven tools and automation for workflow optimization.  
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. 
  • Ability to work 3 days per week in office, alternating between WPP’s downtown Manhattan office and Unilever’s headquarters in Hoboken, NJ required. 

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
