The Pricing Analytics team is the analytical arm of GMNP and will be responsible for providing analytical support for strategic merchant pricing initiatives. This team is instrumental in ensuring the success of GMNS by supporting and executing strategies and analysis that drive blue box business growth objectives. This position will work alongside senior leaders in GMNS in a fast-paced environment and assist in high profile projects with significant impact to the U.S. merchant business.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to gain deep knowledge of the merchant business, as well as exposure to, and insight from, senior leaders across the Blue Box. The Manager should be a dynamic individual who can work closely with senior leaders and has the right ambition to drive change.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement industry-wide pricing strategies based on business and financial objectives, market and competitive analyses, and pricing capabilities.
  • Create robust financial and analytical models for pricing scenario analysis.
  • Run scenarios, validate, and pressure test assumptions.
  • Develop forecasts to inform financial planning.
  • Support GMNP with additional data analytical capabilities
  • Collaborate with business partners and other key Blue Box constituents to drive strategic imperatives.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of analytics experience; previous Pricing or Finance experience is preferred.
  • Experience with financial and analytical modeling is required; advanced SQL data querying is required.
  • Comfort working across large databases required.
  • Success in quantitative data analysis methods and data mining
  • Exceptional aptitude for analytics; demonstrated ability to develop sophisticated financial models and draw value-added insights from large amounts of financial data.
  • Strong strategic thinker with the ability to translate trends and analysis into actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence.
  • Results driven with the ability to work under pressure, navigate through ambiguity, draw linkages, and balance multiple priorities.
  • Ability to collaborate and work as a true member of a team.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete information at times, taking measured risks - flexibility to pivot strategy and process according to business needs.
  • Strong executive presence and collaborative/interpersonal skills.
