Job Summary & Responsibilities

Promote products on behalf of the company at all levels of the channel (architect, dealer, builder, and contractor). Develop and maintain expertise on product features and benefits as well as installation techniques.  Responsible for set up and breakdown of all trade shows and contractor shows. Coordinate product blitzes in territory.

Preferred Qualifications

Essential Job Functions:

  • Make field product introduction calls on contractors, architects, and builders on the behalf of our dealer base in the marketplace.
  • Make field level sales calls, train and merchandise Lowes and or Home Depot.
  • Participate in dealer sales calls when appropriate. Facilitate sales promotions, marketing and merchandising for WOLF Home Products customers.
  • Coordinate and participate in market blitzes for all WOLF Home products.  
    • Assist in market blitzes in other territories when appropriate
  • Promote products on behalf of WOLF Home Products and work closely with WOLF Sales Consultants.
  • Attend trade and contractor shows and be involved in dealer training.
    • Be willing to work weekends if needed
  • Plan or assist with custom display work.
  • Work with OEM manufacture representatives when appropriate.
  • Track contractor calls on Sales Force.
  • Responsible for timely feedback and follow through for new contractor opportunities.
  • Conduct demonstrations with contractor groups.
  • Set up, break down and work trade and contractor shows.
  • Participate in local building associations.
  • Effectively communicate and present the WOLF value proposition in relation to customer’s needs.
  • Maintains high attention to detail to ensure all account objectives and needs are met.
  • Safely operate Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) (weight less than or equal to 26,000 pounds) (GVW) to transport samples/products.
  • Adhere to all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration rules and regulations.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Comply with all elements of the Core Values and use the Quality System, including ISO procedures, corrective and preventative actions, the customer complaint policy, and best practices to achieve continuous process improvements and ensure total customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a positive work environment by behaving and communicating in a professional, courteous, respectful, ethical manner with customers, clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Use good judgment and common sense.

 Experience and Education Required: (Required (R) or Desired/Preferred (D)


(R) Read and Write English

(R) High school diploma or GED

(R) Ability to travel including some overnights and work on weekends as needed

(R) Computer and Software proficiency

(D) College Degree

(D) CRM Software experience (i.e. Salesforce.com)

(D) Social Media proficiency


Required Skills and Qualifications:

Working knowledge of cellular phone, computer, printer, copy machine, fax, and automobile.

Maintain a valid driver’s license.

Maintain a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate (physical card) in accordance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR).

 

Working Conditions:

Extensive travel with some overnights and vehicle operation required; Numerous field sales calls; Work with power tools and perform carpentry duties as needed.

Attend sales and product trainings as necessary
