It's time to transform markets
Existing workflows within syndicated loan and CLO markets are painful for clients: they are outdated, overcomplicated, and time-consuming. It’s time for a change.

Octaura is reimagining the way these markets trade, with efficiency, transparency and simplicity at the heart of what we do. We bring trading capabilities, data and analytics together for the first time on a digitized platform–fundamentally transforming the markets and streamlining workflows like never before.

We’re a values-driven company and by engaging, solving and evolving together, we create a culture that is collaborative, transparent, impactful and innovative. And fun!

The role in a nutshell

We are looking for a Marketing Associate to join our team and our mission to electronify the leveraged loan and CLO markets. As a Marketing Associate, you are responsible for creating go-to-market and engagement initiatives that accelerate Octaura’s growth. In this role, you will work closely with Product, Sales, Support, and Marketing teams to ensure that clients and prospects alike understand the value of the product to drive onboarding, as well as product adoption and ongoing engagement. The successful candidate will have background as a strong marketing generalist or product marketer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and execute content that aligns with business objectives and target audiences. This includes creating high-quality content for various channels such as blogs, social media, email campaigns, and product webpages.
  • Write compelling and clear copy for product-related materials, including whitepapers, case studies, fact sheets, pitch decks, and web content. Ensure all content is consistent with brand voice, style, and tone. Support content creation for key brand initiatives, like Octaura’s podcast The Ramp Up.
  • Define and communicate the unique value propositions of products. Develop key messaging that differentiates from competitors and resonates with customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, sales, and customer support to ensure cohesive and effective marketing campaigns.
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns to drive product awareness, adoption, and retention. Monitor and analyze campaign performance to optimize results.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics related to content effectiveness, campaign success, and product adoption. Use data to continuously improve marketing strategies.
  • Support events that help drive product awareness, adoption and retention, inclusive of sponsored industry conferences, hosted in-person events and webinars.

Desired experience & skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in financial services, financial technology or technology product marketing preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on content creation.
  • Experience in stakeholder management is essential.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Proven ability to create engaging and effective content across various formats and channels.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools and analytics platforms.
  • Creative and innovative thinker.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, start up environment.
  • Knowledge of CRM and marketing automation platform Hubspot preferred.
