About the position:

ING Americas is seeking a creative and collaborative hands-on Marketing Content Manager (3 to 5 years’ experience) who can bring our brand, culture and business to life through compelling writing and visual storytelling. We’re looking for someone who loves uncovering stories, simplifying complex topics and producing content that generates interest and excitement for the impactful work that we are doing. This person will work closely with a hands-on team, senior leaders and subject-matter experts to generate fresh ideas and deliver impactful content across multiple channels

About the department:

This role supports the Wholesale Bank in the Americas by developing and delivering engaging content for internal and external audiences that elevates ING’s brand, supports business growth, and strengthens audience engagement

Responsibilities:

Content Creation (Internal and External)

  • Produce and edit clear, compelling content for both internal and external audiences across digital, social, and traditional channels
  • Translate complex financial and market topics into simple, engaging and timely narratives.
  • Partner with leadership, business stakeholders and HR to identify and prioritize content opportunities and contribute to the overall content strategy
  • Ensure content aligns with ING’s tone of voice and reinforces company culture and values.
  • Collaborate with agency partners and internal teams to deliver high-quality assets and campaigns

Internal Engagement

  • Lead the creation and management of internal newsletters from content planning, writing, formatting to distribution
  • Manage internal content distribution platforms, such as the intranet, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Support internal initiatives, change communications and culture building activities through clear, consistent storytelling
  • Drive feedback mechanisms to support continuous improvement
  • Build relationships across the organization to surface new content opportunities and elevate employee voices
  • Provide editorial oversight, project management, and best‑practice guidance to internal stakeholders creating content

External Engagement

  • Develop content for corporate clients, institutional investors, and industry partners to support client acquisition, retention and engagement
  • Work closely with sector and product teams to develop articles, messaging, client materials, event content and other thought leadership deliverables
  • Support PR activities including messaging development, interview preparation, and identifying thought leadership opportunities

Performance & Optimization

  • Own weekly, quarterly, and annual content calendars across internal and external channels
  • Manage and interpret content analytics, KPIs, and insights to measure performance and translate insights into actionable improvements
  • Use data and insights to continuously improve content quality, relevance, and impact

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in content management, communications, journalism or marketing, ideally in financial services or B2B environments
  • Ability to translate complex information into accessible, engaging content for different channels and formats
  • Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills, comfort and confidence working with senior leaders and subject matter experts
  • Detail oriented with strong project management skills, able to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders
  • Proficiency with content management systems (CMS), intranet tools, and digital asset management platforms
  • Experience with content analytics and measurement tools
  • Graphic design, visual storytelling or multimedia experience a plus

Salary Range $80,000-102,000
