Our client is a healthcare technology company.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Serve as the first marketing hire, owning brand, demand generation and event activity in close partnership with company leadership. The role blends strategy with hands-on execution and requires working independently across many marketing functions.
What you'll do
- Build the company's brand story and public identity from the ground up alongside the founders.
- Set and carry out the strategy for generating inbound leads, choosing the right mix of channels such as account-based, product and paid marketing.
- Run account-based campaigns aimed at multi-site practice groups, coordinating closely with the business development team.
- Oversee content production and manage external vendors such as design studios to deliver marketing assets, social posts and collateral.
- Manage logistics for an active conference calendar and look for new event opportunities.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 3 to 5 years of B2B marketing experience with a strategic mindset and a sense of where to focus first.
- Healthcare or startup experience, with willingness to work across account-based marketing, content, events and brand.
- Comfort working as an individual contributor without a defined playbook.
- A brand-first approach and the ability to turn product value into clear, compelling messaging.
- Ability to experiment and prioritize marketing channels strategically.
- Ability to work independently with little direct supervision.
- Willingness to work on-site five days a week.
Bonus points
- Background in sales or account-based marketing.
- Experience in the healthcare industry.
- Experience wearing multiple B2B marketing hats at an early-stage startup.
