Resideo is seeking a high impact, strategic National Account Manager to lead and grow our partnership with key executive accounts across the United States. As the National Account Manager, you will have the opportunity to expand past traditional sales responsibilities. It is a flagship account leadership opportunity responsible for driving national strategy, profitable growth, executive alignment, and market influence within one of our most critical wholesale partners. 

As the face of Resideo, you will own the vision, the relationship, and the results. You will shape joint business plans, influence category strategy, ensure pricing and program excellence, and unlock new growth opportunities across product lines and regions. This role requires an experienced sales professional who thrives in complexity, leads cross-functional teams without direct authority, and knows how to win at scale. 

JOB DUTIES: 

  • Create and execute annual sales plan for your assigned account(s) 
  • Build and maintain C-level and executive relationships across sales, marketing, procurement, and finance.  
  • Manage, execute, and measure results of national selling and marketing initiatives. 
  • Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and strategic planning sessions with customers and internal stakeholders. 
  • Own customer demand planning and sales forecasting, providing accurate projections and regularly reporting performance and insights to leadership team. 
  • Ensure pricing accuracy for key accounts by validating that all customers facing prices align with contractual agreements, and internal systems. 
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships, growth strategies, roadmaps, and competitive analyses of assigned accounts. 
  • Effectively work in a cross-functional environment with Sales Director, Key Account Sales Leader, Channel Marketing, Regional Sales Leaders, Product Management teams and external channel partners to develop and articulate new growth strategies. 
  • Manage and track ROI of customers marketing funds to support key strategic initiatives. 
  • Communicate all account product requirements and work with the marketing channel to develop account specific marketing and product strategies. 
  • Utilize CRM tools to update management and sales reps of progress and opportunities. 
  • Manage and negotiate contracts with customers annually. 
  • Coordinate with other team members to maximize sales coverage of key markets. 
  • Participate in relevant industry trade shows and/or specialized training seminars.
  • TRAVEL:Expected Travel - 50-75% (US Only) 

MUST HAVES: 

  • 10+ years of progressive, quota-carrying sales experience, including national or strategic account responsibility. 
  • 7+ years of professional experience utilizing CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel proficiency preferred. 
  • Experience leading high-level customer relationships within distribution, wholesale, or channel environments. 
  • Strong financial and business acumen, including forecasting, margin management, and pricing strategy. 
  • Willingness to travel nationally as required to support a strategic account footprint.

  • HVAC industry experience, including sales or field technician background.

  • Proven outside sales experience managing and expanding both new and existing customer accounts. 
  • Demonstrated success in building strategic client relationships and executing effective territory plans. 
  • Consistent track record of delivering sales growth and achieving performance targets. 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional, matrixed organization. 
  • Professional, diplomatic approach to negotiation and conflict resolution. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Sound decision-making skills with the ability to think strategically and analytically.
