About the Job 

Every is hiring an Office Manager/Executive Assistant to keep our New York office running smoothly and to be a right-hand resource to our CEO. You’ll work at least three days a week from our Brooklyn brownstone and will own daily office operations.

What You’ll Do 

- Make our Brooklyn brownstone a productive and happy place to work on a day-to-day basis. You’ll own daily operations including:    

  • Tech needs from laptops to internet   
  • Quality of life in the office, from snacks to upkeep   
  • Parts of onboarding, including sending welcome packages and showing New York–based new hires around   
  • Office policies and procedures 

- Own CEO Dan Shipper’s admin support:    

  • Scheduling speaking engagements    
  • Managing calendars and travel  
  • Handling and prioritizing correspondence, personal documentation, and other administrative tasks 

- Coordinate team travel

- Help organize Every’s biannual Think Weeks, including travel, event planning, and on-site logistics 

- Support in-person events as needed, from logistics to day-of execution 

- Build systems and automations that cut down recurring manual work 

- Handle confidential information with discretion 

What We’re Looking For 

  • Ability to be in person at least three days a week. Hours are flexible with a 9 a.m.–5 p.m. overlap and may shift around events
  • You have experience running an office, supporting an executive, or both.
  • If you don’t, tell us why you think you’re the right person for the job. We’re open to being persuaded!
  • You’re excited about AI and already use tools like Codex in daily life
  • You’re highly detail-oriented and reliable—things don’t slip through the cracks
  • You’re comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information
  • You’re interested in developing automated systems and processes as part of your work, and writing about them for Every
  • Prior experience with startups or other fast-paced environments is a plus

  • Salary range: $75,000–$85,000 plus equity

Our Interview Plan for This Role 

  1. 30-minute initial screen
  2. One-hour-or-less take-home assignment
  3. Two-hour in-person interview
  4. Paid work trial—one day to one week depending on availability
