Reporting directly to the School Business Operations Manager (BOM), the Operations Specialist in one of our schools will serve as a key member of the School Operations team. You will be a primary point of contact for our families, a key coordinator for school events, and a hands-on contributor to maintaining our exceptional school environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow within a fast-paced, mission-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Efficiency and Process Optimization:

  • Analyze and evaluate existing operational processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Proactively identify and address potential operational challenges, exercising independent judgment to prioritize issues and allocate resources.
  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline workflows, improve resource utilization, and optimize the overall functioning of the school's operational systems.

Stakeholder Relationship Management:

  • Provide excellent customer service to students and families, ensuring their operational needs are met efficiently and professionally.
  • Collaborate with all staff in maintaining a positive and supportive school environment that promotes student well-being by ensuring efficient and effective school operations.
  • Collaborate with various departments to address cross-functional operational needs and ensure seamless coordination.

Project Coordination and Implementation:

  • Manage and coordinate operational projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Develop project timelines, allocate resources, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Exercise independent judgment in making decisions related to project scope, methodology, and resource allocation.

Information Management and Analysis:

  • Oversee the collection, organization, and analysis of data related to school operations, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • Utilize data to inform decision-making, identify trends, and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement systems for efficient information management and reporting.

Technology Integration and Innovation:

  • Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency and improve service delivery.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of technology systems, ensuring effective utilization by staff.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology to streamline processes and improve the overall school environment.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3+ years of professional experience in operations, administration, or a related field, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in making decisions related to complex operational issues.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective operational processes and procedures.
  • Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in utilizing technology to enhance operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute to a mission-driven organization.

Compensation Range
$66,300$66,300 USD
