The Performance Operations Lead is a senior leader within their department (RA) who's mandate is to ensure the Engineering Teams are performing at a high standard. The organization is built on the concepts of distributed management and minimal hierarchy. It is with this mindset that the Performance Operations Lead will focus their efforts in developing processes that allow the various leaders within the RA to effectively manage the team. Working within the framework set forth by Caesars Digital and Caesars Entertainment's, the Performance Operations Lead will augment those processes to work within our large, distributed structure, creating well defined communication paths, ensuring people management data is efficiently collected and funneled up to the General Manager.
As we scale out further, the Performance Operations Lead will further templatize and mature what's been developed, as well as introduce new ways of understanding how well someone is performing within the RA. They will liaise with Product Technology leadership, RA leadership, and HR to ensure all processes are in alignment with the rest of the organization. The Performance Operations Lead is a manager within the RA that will act as an escalation point for team members when they have issues related to people processes. The Performance Operations Lead will understand the health of an RA just as well as the General Manager and Product Lead, being hands-on with individuals, and triggering feedback loops, and organizing obtained insights.
What You Will Do:

• Grow and augment performance management processes including, but not limited to, the Step Framework
• Define and execute triggers for obtaining 360 feedback, whether related to good, bad, or no feedback
• Ensure hiring plan is in line with skillsets necessary to execute product roadmap
• Organize information regarding individuals and understand when it should be reviewed or actioned on
• Identify, present, and help execute opportunities for processes to improve
• Identify, present, and help execute opportunities for people to grow in their career
• Own and operate opportunities of further education for staff
• Schedule onboarding sessions for new hires along with timely check-ins
• Liaise with the HR department, maintaining a mutually beneficial relationship so both groups understand what is occurring
• Support the General Manager and Product Lead in effectively leading teams while maintaining a low hierarchy
