Alfred is seeking an experienced Executive Business Partner to provide support and collaboration to the executive leadership team. This mission critical and highly visible position will be part of a dynamic team that requires high organization and responsiveness.The successful candidate is eager to take on a position that extends beyond traditional administrative responsibilities to involve project management, special projects, and operational coordination and be a crucial resource for the greater management team.

How you’ll contribute to #OneTeam

  • Organize and maintain complex calendars; prioritize and coordinate a high-volume and ever-changing schedule and priorities.
  • Provide proactive and strategic partnership constantly tackling, blocking, and prioritizing how executives are spending their time with the ultimate goal of enabling them to do their best work.
  • Find new and efficient ways to create work processes to help the executives manage and maximize their time.
  • Bring structure and organization to a fast-paced ever changing environment while remaining calm and positive
  • Demonstrate composure and flexibility, regardless of competing priorities.
  • Anticipate the executives needs and proactively assemble the appropriate people and resources to solve problems.
  • Attend important meetings, taking notes, tracking action items, and being an active participant and knowledgeable resource, while ensuring executive preparation and effectiveness.
  • Prioritize, proactively identifying gaps and taking ownership of projects; help compile and prepare material and agendas.
  • Communicate on behalf of the executive(s) you support, including handling highly sensitive and confidential material. 
  • Ensure all communication is tracked and responded to in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate and oversee complex travel arrangements, including all necessary documentation
  • Assist with special projects as needed, including planning high-profile events, board meetings, off-site meetings and team events.
  • Complete expense reports and manage company documents and contracts as needed.
  • Take independent action and be able to exercise proper judgment at all times maintaining full discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Who you are

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, 2+ years partnering with C-level executives
  • Ability to manage up and have impeccable follow-up and follow-through
  • Proficiency in G-Suite: Google Calendars, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides
  • Strong organizational skills that demonstrate ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience working in a start-up and/or fast-moving and growing organization
  • Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong judgment and decision-making capability
  • Ability to multitask, deal with ambiguity and reprioritize tasks in response to unexpected changes in priorities/requests
  • Expert-level written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be independently effective
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Forward-looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
  • Initiative and sense of urgency
  • Experience with domestic and/or international travel coordination
  • Must be willing to work from the NYC office no less than 2 and up to 5 days a week
  • Available to work outside of traditional business hours including some evenings and weekends as needed

Location

Two blocks up from Battery Park, Alfred is no more than a ten-minute walk to water south, east, and west. Our office is easy to get to with many subway lines, ferries, and the PATH within a short walk.
