We are seeking an energetic individual to work full-time in our office as a Help Desk Specialist. This is an opportunity for someone with 3+ years of experience to support a growing organization from the C-suite on down.  The qualified candidate should have good technical troubleshooting skills and excellent non-technical communication skills, both in written and oral formats.

What you will be doing:

  • Troubleshooting of routine hardware and software issues.
  • Monitor and respond to help desk request from employees, providing problem resolution via phone, email and remote access
  • Provide thoughtful, personalized communication to company employee  who have minimal to advanced technical knowledge
  • Maintain and track all IT hardware inventory and software licensing
  • Prepare, manage and deploy hardware, desktops, laptops
  • Assist HR onboarding and offboarding employees and contractors
  • Provide global cross-functional support to all remote employees; while also supporting employees at office location 
  • Documenting, tracking, and monitoring all work item and resolution activity in the ticketing system to ensure a timely resolution
  • Escalating issues of a higher complexity to the appropriate person.
  • Assists in appropriate level software installations, patches and upgrades to maintain system integrity and security
  • Occasional off-hours support to remote locations
  • Other IT related functions and projects as requested that are not limited to daily IT support

What you bring to the table:

  • 3+ years of desktop support, customer support and/or helpdesk experience
  • MDM experience on Mekari/Jamf
  • Meraki Networking equipment.
  • Video conferencing equipment and software,  Zoom.
  • In-depth knowledge of maintaining and upgrading Windows 10 OS, Microsoft 365 Productivity Applications and Windows networking
  • Fully versed MAC OS and iOS
  • Strong hardware troubleshooting skills
  • Experience using remote client management tools
  • Experience supporting clients with device encryption and anti-virus software.
  • Experience supporting Wi-Fi security, VPN, network access and security certificates
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain technical issues to non-technical staff
