What you will be doing

As a full-time Manager, Virtual Navigation (MVN) you will lead the day-to-day operations for the Virtual Navigation team. Your responsibilities will include owning individual and team performance metrics, implementing workflow and process improvements, and ultimately ensuring a great patient and provider experience. You will work closely with the clinical, product, data, and operations teams to develop and execute on cross-functional virtual support initiatives, focusing on care quality, access, and efficiency. Excellent candidates will have a passion for continuously improving the lives of our patients and providers, are comfortable acting swiftly to resolve urgent administrative care requests, and be eager to lead a team with excellence and empathy. 

What success looks like

• Ensure a phenomenal patient experience through enhancing and building administrative workflows and enabling seamless chat and video-based clinical encounters. 
• Manage an engaged team of VNs through excellent training, coaching, career development, and empowerment. 
• Determine staffing needs and own the shift calendar to ensure appropriate virtual coverage. 
• Lead weekly team meetings.
• Lead day-to-day team execution by mastering internal operations, prioritizing initiatives, and acting swiftly to supervise resolution of urgent team requests, including licensing and scheduling issues.
• Identify opportunities to increase efficiency with new tools or workflows, delivering measurable value for patients and providers. 
• Partner with the Sr Manager, Member Support and peer managers to drive the key success metrics for virtual care for the MS, Clinical team, including patient satisfaction, service delivery and performance, and SLA adherence. 
• Partner with Ops and Clinical leadership to ensure documentation and compliance with protocols, policies, and training. 

What you will bring

• A passion for delivering virtual primary care and directly supporting patients. 
• A willingness to get into the weeds and provide hands-on support to your team. 
• 3+ years experience building, managing, and cultivating teams. 
• A proactive, problem solving mindset, with the ability to structure and solve complex problems. You are comfortable working through ambiguity. 
• Proven ability to use data to drive your decision making. 
• Proven experience communicating with key stakeholders at various levels. 
• A team-oriented approach to healthcare. 
• The desire to be part of a fast-moving, cutting-edge startup. Experience in healthcare, especially collaboration with providers, is a plus.
