Your team:

Risk Operations team is a diverse group of experts in the Real Estate field focused on mitigating Risk for Ribbon and our Customers when participating in a Real Estate transaction. We look for people who are passionate about helping others, technically minded, consultative and care deeply about the details. Our team supports homebuyers through one of the most stressful transactions of their lives, collaborating with their team of partners as Ribbon program and Real Estate industry experts.

How you'll help make homeownership achievable:

Ribbon is looking for an experienced People Manager with a Contract, Billing or Risk Assessment background to stand up a new team within our Risk Operations organization. The Senior Manager, Contract Operations will oversee a team responsible for executing and reviewing all documents that Ribbon is a party to, managing our long-term billable contractual relationships with homebuyers, and reviewing closing documents for accuracy.

The individual will also play a key role in developing the Risk Operations organization, supporting, and expanding service offerings, developing world class, scalable processes and ensuring excellence in execution and delivery of Contract Operations services.

  • Standing up a new functional team focused entirely on all components of Contracts for Ribbon Programs
  • Managing and hiring a team of high achieving Contract Operations Specialists, promoting professional advancement through training and coaching
  • Overseeing overall Contract execution for Ribbon Home transactions
  • Leading and supporting the delivery of new product capabilities to and by the Contract Operations team
  • Managing the signature and notarization capabilities for Ribbon on Real Estate Transactions
  • Partnering cross functionally with Commercial, Product, Engineering, Analytics, Operations and Support stakeholders to align team operations with the broader organizational goals and priorities
  • Preparing and presenting Internal and client facing communications with key stakeholders

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3-6 years of direct people management experience
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing a customer facing contract, billing or risk assessment processing team
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Real Estate Transactions
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong ability to translate data and technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Knowledge of the operational complexities of the Real Estate closing process
  • Deep Knowledge of the legalities for scalable Signatory and Notarization capabilities.
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into actionable, scalable solutions
  • Ability to adapt and quickly pivot in an extremely fast paced environment
  • Demonstrable experience building structure during ambiguity
  • Experience in driving a high performing and collaborative culture
