We are currently hiring for a Senior Training Specialist to join our team! Educating customers and partners is essential to the mission of the company and your dedication to providing a world class training experience with a high level of respect for users will be a huge part of accomplishing that mission. Your attention to detail will help you to become an expert in the Onna platform and an invaluable resource for our users. You’ll have the opportunity to work directly with users to help them master the Onna platform and to use your knowledge to help develop new resources to further expand our offerings to help users understand our constantly evolving technology. 

What you'll do:

In the first few months, you will:

  • Become an expert in the Onna platform! You will develop a deep understanding of our customers and partners and become an expert in user workflows.
  • This role will be responsible for developing, designing, and delivering a suite of training programs for Onna. Interest and skill in helping professionals become more productive, champions of our system, and trusted Advisors is paramount.
  • Use, analyze and research data from training programs and translate it into utility gain for the organization.
  • Help to ensure our user training materials are up-to-date and fresh. The Onna platform is constantly evolving and you’ll help to make sure our user training offerings and resources always reflect those changes.
  • Learn, grow, and contribute right away. We trust that you’ll bring experience and knowledge that will uplift the team, but we don’t expect you to know everything on Day One.

Going forward, you will:

  • Work collaboratively with our Customer Success, Professional Services, and Partnerships team to ensure that new customers and partners have an amazing experience.
  • Build our library of user training resources. We are always looking to create new resources to help our users master the Onna platform. You’ll have the opportunity to propose, develop, and implement new written and video resources.
  • Implement new user training tools and technology. Improving our tools and technology will be key to providing a great user training experience. You’ll help us to identify new tools and implement new technologies.
  • Help build training programs that lead towards Onna specific certifications, both for our partners and for our customers. 
  • Be a training advocate for our key customers and partners, taking their feedback, and improving our training capabilities and collateral.  
  • Due to the nature of this role, there may be an occasional need for travel.

Who you are: 

  • 5+ years experience in providing user training, managing training resources, designing and generating new training content, or teaching technology, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and with a focus on making process improvements
  • You are excited about leading live training presentations, both online and in person, and are focused on applying your strong communication skills to ensure that our users are set up to succeed while using the Onna platform
  • You have knowledge and/or hands-on experience with a Learning Management System (LMS)
  • You have experience working with virtual meeting and training platforms, such as WebEx, GoToMeeting, Zoom Webinar, etc.
  • You have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detailed planning, time management, and organizational skills are required
  • You are accustomed to dealing with a high level of change in technology and products
  • You are positive, proactive and able to always exercise great judgment
  • Bonus: You have recent experience in a high-growth SaaS company
  • Bonus: You have experience in video editing and production
  • Bonus: You have experience in content management for a large library of educational materials
