Partner Channel Sales Manager
Job Description
Job Summary:**
SUSE Software Solutions North America is seeking a dynamic Partner Channel Sales Manager to drive growth and expand market share through strategic channel partnerships. This role is crucial for developing and maintaining strong relationships with partners, ensuring the successful execution of sales strategies, and contributing to the overall sales objectives.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Develop and execute strategic channel sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets within the US & Canadian market.
* Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners, establishing strong and mutually beneficial relationships.
* Manage existing partner accounts, providing ongoing support, training, and enablement to maximize their sales performance.
* Collaborate with partners on lead generation activities, joint marketing initiatives, and sales campaigns.
* Utilize strategic selling techniques to guide partners in positioning and selling SUSE products and solutions effectively.
* Conduct regular business reviews with partners to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans.
* Work closely with internal sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure partner needs are met and to communicate product knowledge effectively.
* Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and partner feedback to inform strategic planning and product development.
* Manage sales operations related to channel partners, including forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting.
* Contribute to the development and refinement of HR strategy as it pertains to partner enablement and channel growth initiatives.
Job Qualifications:**
* Proven experience in Channel Sales and Account Management within the software industry.
* Demonstrated success in Business Development and Lead Generation.
* Strong understanding of Product Knowledge related to enterprise software solutions.
* Exceptional Relationship Building and communication skills.
* Solid background in Sales and Sales Management, with a track record of achieving targets.
* Expertise in Strategic Planning and Strategic Selling methodologies.
* Experience with Sales Operations and performance analysis.
* Ability to contribute to and understand HR Strategy in a sales context.
* Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

If this role is filled in the United States of America, the starting base salary will be within the applicable pay range displayed below. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for a commission plan and a competitive benefits package. US benefits include comprehensive medical coverage, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan, an Employee Assistance Program, and generous paid time off and leave policies.
Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, geographic location, internal equity, and budget. This pay transparency information applies to US-based roles only.
