Job Description

Eataly is hiring a People Content & Communications Intern for Summer 2026 to work with and learn from Eataly’s Culture & Communications Team. This internship is a unique opportunity for hands-on, professional experience with a fun and dynamic team. Get a taste of what life is like as an Eatalian! 

With the guidance of the Manager of Culture & Communications, the intern will: 

  • Learn about Eataly North America’s strategies, systems, processes, and tools related to internal communications, culture, talent brand, and training 

  • Assist in executing Eataly North America’s recognition program, Stories of Eataly: track and calendarize details, create materials, collect photographs 

  • Plan and write “Faces of Eataly” articles featuring team members on Eataly’s website 

  • Assist with writing and scheduling content for Eataly North America’s intranet 

  • Pull monthly reports on intranet usage and draw conclusions 

  • Support access to internal communications platforms, using data to drive adoption  

  • Design visual templates and posters in Canva for internal communications 

  • Support ad hoc projects related to Eatalian Experience at Eataly North America 

  • Brainstorm and draft creative, new content for all people-focused communications platforms 

  • Build an extensive library of people-focused content for Eataly’s LinkedIn pages including posts, photos, updated copy for Life pages 

  • Organize, label, and update Eataly’s electronic people media library 

  • Assist with translations of LinkedIn or intranet content from Italian to English and vice versa 

  • Perform other duties as required or assigned 

This internship runs from June - August.  The internship is onsite at Eataly’s corporate offices in Manhattan, NY. The intern will be scheduled per week, Monday – Thursday from 9 am – 6 pm. Internships at Eataly are paid an hourly rate.  Housing and transportation costs are the responsibility of the intern.  

 

The compensation for this role is $17.00 per hour

Qualifications

  • Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree  

  • Exceptional writing and communication skills 

  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail 

  • Ability to take direction and work independently 

  • Operational experience in the food and beverage industry 

  • Working knowledge of Italian language highly preferred 

  • Familiarity with Canva, SharePoint, LinkedIn, Excel and PowerPoint preferred
