People Operations Manager
Riskified’s HR team strives to create and deliver a seamless and positive employee experience across the entire employee lifecycle. We also work to ensure Riskified remains protected and compliant. We are looking for an experienced candidate with expertise in all aspects of HR people operations within a fast moving technology company.
As a people operations manager you will work with our global HR team to design, implement and own the infrastructure for people ops in our NYC office. You will serve as the main POC for all employment related matters, be in charge of all compliance related issues, and own all relations with relevant HR vendors. Your job will master all strategic and tactical aspects of people operations, from employee onboarding and welfare to keeping our culture alive, and driving our compliance and legal knowledge forward, always thinking of our employee’s benefits.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute the people ops infrastructure for Riskified’s NYC office; work on our handbook, develop appropriate employee policies, build and implement processes such as on-boarding, welfare plan and more
- Work with the TLV HR team and serve as the POC for all NY employees HR related needs, issues and questions; address employee issues and concerns and facilitate actions to resolve those in a timely and manner
- Research, implement and administer all compensation and benefit plans and continuously assist employees with those
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to HR, reducing legal risks and regulatory compliance
- Assist with all relocation related queries as needed
- Ensure smooth function of business by evaluating office procedures and considering more efficient ways of operation
- 3+ years experience in people ops at a tech company - MUST
- Excellent in-depth knowledge of the NY job market - MUST
- BA/BS degree - MUST
- Knowledge of the Israeli startup culture/ experience working for an Israeli startup - Very big advantage!
- Demonstrated capacity to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up environment
- Must be able to legally work in the U.S. without sponsorship
