How You’ll Make an Impact as a People Relations Partner:  

As a trusted advisor and strategic partner, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience across our organization. This is more than just an employee relations role—you'll be the go-to expert who anticipates needs, solves complex challenges, and leads initiatives that directly impact our people and business strategy.  

 

What you’ll do 

Be a Trusted Advisor 

  • Partner with employees and people leaders on everything from routine policy questions to sensitive, complex employee matters.  

  • Proactively identify pain points and challenges and develop solutions that create a workplace where everyone thrives. 

  • Guide people leaders through performance management, disciplinary issues, leaves of absence, flexible work programs, and difficult conversations with empathy and expertise. 

  • Influence decision-making through data, insights, and sound judgement.  

Lead Strategic Initiatives 

  • Lead HR projects and programs that align with our broader business strategy 

  • Influence policies and practices across our organization and the Federal Reserve System  

Shape Our Culture 

  • Build meaningful and impactful relationships across all levels of the organization 

  • Design and deliver education programs on people relations topics that empower people leaders and employees 

  • Champion inclusive practices and ensure every voice is heard 

 

The Unique Skill Sets We’re Looking For and What Makes you Great for this Role: 

  • Experience: Demonstrated expertise and a strong track record as an Employee Relations Partner or Specialist, with deep experience managing complex employee relations matters. We also welcome candidates with backgrounds as HR Business Partners or HR Generalists who have handled employee relations as a significant part of their role and have built sustained proficiency in this work. 

  • Expertise: Ability to navigate complex, variable situations 

  • Influence: Natural ability to coach and influence others at the operational and strategic level 

  • Autonomy: Comfort and confidence operating independently with minimal supervision 

  • Communication: Exceptional at briefing senior leaders and connecting across functions 

 

 

Other Things to Know:   

Salary Range: $170000 - $225000 / year

We pay individuals along this range based on their unique backgrounds. Whether you’re stretching into the job or are a more seasoned candidate, we aim to pay competitively for your contributions.
