Samba connects the advertising industry. Today, a trillion dollars of media flows through platforms that don’t talk to each other, and each one measures its own results. We built the independent alternative: consented first-party data and AI that give the world’s biggest advertisers, publishers, and platforms one clear view across all of it.

The next era of advertising will run on AI agents, and those agents will need data they can trust. We’re building that foundation, and the agents that act on it. Join us and help build what the industry runs on.

About the Role
You manage and grow Samba's relationships with agency and brand-direct clients, making sure they get full value from our audience targeting solutions. Working closely with Sales, you support key accounts, shape audience activation strategies, and keep the client experience seamless across the campaign lifecycle. Your work drives client satisfaction, retention, and account growth.

What You'll Do
  • Own Client Accounts: Own day-to-day account management for a portfolio of agency and brand-direct clients and partners, building trusted relationships through proactive communication and white-glove service.
  • Grow Key Accounts: Build strategic account plans with Sales, drive renewals, identify upsell opportunities, and lead business reviews on performance, delivery, and expansion.
  • Drive Data Activation: Make sure clients activate Samba audience and contextual data across all major demand-side platforms (DSPs), supply-side platforms (SSPs), data management platforms (DMPs), and social platforms.
  • Run Campaigns: Oversee campaign setup and audience segment delivery across SSPs and programmatic buying platforms, supporting clients from planning and audience building through activation and quality assurance (QA).
  • Train & Troubleshoot: Teach clients how to request, build, and deploy Samba audiences, and troubleshoot segment delivery issues with technical teams to resolve activation challenges.
  • Shape Pre-Sale Plans: Partner with Sales on pre-sale planning and platform demos, aligning client goals with audience solutions and representing Samba's audience products with subject-matter expertise.
  • Close Feedback Loops: Act as the feedback loop between clients and internal teams, and work with Product, Measurement, Revenue Operations, and Finance to improve activation, performance, and solutions.

What You Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in account management, client services, or programmatic strategy roles, working with agencies and brand-direct clients to deliver audience solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of audience activation and programmatic buying across DSPs such as The Trade Desk, DV360, and Yahoo DSP, plus a strong grasp of the wider digital advertising and programmatic ecosystem.
  • Solid working knowledge of DMPs such as LiveRamp, Lotame, and Adform, and SSPs such as OpenX, Magnite, and FreeWheel.
  • Strong Excel skills (SUMIFS, INDEX MATCH, pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and proficiency with customer relationship management (CRM) and project management tools such as Salesforce, Jira, Asana, and Trello; SQL is a plus.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a curious, proactive, and collaborative approach: always learning, quick to turn challenges into client value, and at home in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
