Project Coordinator

Marsh is seeking a Project Coordinator to provide high-level administrative and project support to Senior Project Management Professionals on complex, high-visibility work. This role helps keep projects organized, on schedule, within budget, and aligned to client and internal expectations.

What you will do:

  • Provide high-level administrative support on complex projects, including organizing, tracking, and filing project materials.

  • Monitor project progress from contract through implementation and follow-through to help ensure schedules and budget targets are met.

  • Prepare status reports for management, clients, and other stakeholders, and adjust schedules or plans as needed.

  • Support project scope definition, project plan customization, timeline setting, and task assignments to enable efficient workflow.

  • Work with the Project Manager to identify dependencies, priorities, critical path items, and milestones.

  • Review project proposals or plans and offer recommendations on timelines and administrative procedures.

  • Track multiple project workflows to ensure requirements are quality checked and moving efficiently toward deadlines.

  • Assist with presentation development and capture meeting minutes and action items.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client counterpart(s) as the administrative point of contact for project coordination.

  • Collect budget information, maintain expense records, and prepare budget reports based on estimated revenue, expense reports, and historical budget data.

  • Consult with department managers to ensure changes are reflected appropriately for long-term planning.

  • Troubleshoot high-level administrative issues and identify opportunities for process improvement.

  • Coordinate the activities of project support staff to help keep work on schedule and within budget.

Marsh is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $82,200 to $164,400.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
