The Program Manager, Product Equity and Inclusion will take a leadership role in ensuring Amplify's products embody Amplify's DEI Commitment Statement:

We help teachers craft rigorous learning experiences that reflect the diverse histories, cultures, and identities their students bring to the classroom.

To do this, we hire and develop people with the broadest range of talents, life stories and experiences, and together we build a diverse and inclusive culture.
This role will build strong systems and processes to guide product development across Amplify's portfolio. The Program Manager will work closely with leaders from across departments to build excellent, equitable products with a strong commitment to research-based pedagogy and educator needs.
Responsibilities:
Project management- Ensure major equity and inclusion initiatives stay on track. Identify barriers and risks and problem solve to unblock.
Cross functional team coordination- Work across design, product management, and content to push forward initiatives related to equity and inclusion. Assist teams in establishing quarterly OKRs related to equity and inclusion in our products, track progress throughout the quarter, and prepare reports for executive management.
Market Research and Analysis - Stay up to date on the K-12 core curriculum and supplemental education market and prepare briefs to share with leadership and the product team on best practices in equitable and inclusive product design. Research the competitive product landscape to inform product, design, and development decisions. Integrate research findings into strategic planning and product development.
Product Knowledge - Serve as an expert on our approach to building equitable and inclusive products, working with marketing, sales, and implementation teammates.
Collaborate on customer-facing projects including training materials, pilot support, customer conversations, and sales meetings. Coordinate cross product Guilds in Content and Design to share best practice and DEI experiences
Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in program management, project management, and/or diversity and inclusion.
  • 2 years of experience with diversity and inclusion initiatives


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of inclusive product design, including accessibility
  • Understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion including clear demonstration of applying an equity lens to day-to-day work.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities, proactive, and an ability to work well in an ambiguous environment.
  • Consultative skills to innovate and help internal clients change the lens on how we recruit.
